Topic: What are your thoughts on having to wait for the 3DS shop to be released?

I for one am surprised,however if it means that they will fix the whole size limit problems of the previous services I think it was a smart move ......otherwise.......

I don't like the fact that we have to wait, aside from that, I can't wait!

VC games like Gameboy and Gamegear, in 3D? Yes!

Where did it say they'd be in 3D?

I would rather wait and let them get it right the first time rather than patch it as they go

Being the "easy to please" person that I am, I'm totally satisfied with all the 3D stuff at the moment, and I don't particularly care about the shop right now.

Whoops, turns out I was reading a rumour, scratch what I said.

My thoughts are that its ass to not have the eShop at launch. It wasn't gonna stop me from buying the system on day 1 but still, I would have really liked to have DSiWare access. I'm already missing having an abundant selection of little games all just sitting there waiting to be clicked on

I would rather not have the e-shop at launch, rather than Nintendo delaying the 3DS until it is ready.

I think I heard that SOME would be made be viewed in 3D.

Anyways yeah...kinda sucks there's no eShop or VC yet...bu I'm sure these 2 3DS games I have will keep me busy for now, and any other game I buy later on...not to mention Black's/White's Dream World that opens up on the 30th, lol.

It gives my wallet a chance to recover.

I couldn't agree more WildVine53. On the other hand I think that the worst issue is the wait for the 3DS eShop but rather the fact that a lot of the launch games don't make use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and some don't even have single or multicard multiplayer local game share features.

I hope there's a decent amount of new content. It should be treated like another launch, really.

I don't think it was a smart move on Nintendo's part... assuming it actually wants to be competitive in the world of digital downloads, this delay sends out all the wrong messages about where its priorities lie.

That said, I personally don't care a great deal. I have games enough on it.

i dont really care about the eShop , personally i think the WiiWare platform was and is still very weak and i bet no other change will be for the 3Ds eShop. Only thing which shines on WiiWare are World of Goo and Bit.trip for weird people , so well i could skip those and get em through other platforms.

So forget the eShop and bring AAA titles to the 3DS , bigN bring it on
Plus a browser would be cool , atm browser would be MUCH more usefull than a silly eShop ...

QFT. I don't know what it is about you Waltz...I either agree with you absolutely completely or disagree completely - no medium with you. This time 100% in agreement. It's like Nintendo doesn't want people to connect online. Pushing updates to the system isn't going to do any good, if nobody has a reason to configure their wireless settings in the first place.

I don't mind personally, I can keep the $250 in the bank for a little longer (if only interest rates weren't abysmal - this would be an actual benefit).
