Here are some for the DS: COD 4: Modern warefare, COD: World at War, COD:Modern Warfare Mobolized (aka Modern Warfare 2), COD: Black Ops, COD: Modern Warfare 3.
I wondered this for quite a while to be honest. After all, if the console has the power of a Wii or other similar home system, surely it'd be a great handheld for First Person Shooters, right?
It doesn't really have duel analog, which i'm sure is one reason 3DS doesn't have any. The 3DS controls just aren't ideal for a FPS. I'm sure Nintendo will put Metroid Prime on there at some point though...
The only worthwhile DS FPS are Metroid, Moon, and Dimentium

When the DS came out it was supposed to be "perfect for FPSs" and the Metroid Prime: Hunters demo seemed like that was indeed the case. Then when MP: Hunters proper came out, we realized that while the controls may be fine in short demo form any longer and they become agonizingly uncomfortable. Well they did for me anyway, but I certainly remember during that period that the whole "DS is perfect for FPS" movement went awfully quiet after Hunters came out.
I think for me, it wasn't so much the touch aiming that was the problem, more the fact that you have to control everything else with your left hand, but because you're not counter-balancing your grip on the console with your right hand, there's little resistance to your pressing (unless you clasp it in an uncomfortable way) so it keeps slipping out of your grasp. If that makes any sense...
Ya I understand. I would usually rest my palm against the corner to hold the weight, but even that got tiring. Sitting down to play against your lap is probably the best way to play those games. I didn't really like Dementium The Ward though. I just couldn't get into it, but I liked Metroid Prime Hunters storymode and online until everyone started using action replay... My last post was supposed to say I'm surprised there's none on there really.

I just want a Circle Pad Pro compatible online multiplayer COD. All of their DS efforts were mediocre and I heard the Vita version was pretty abysmal. It doesn't seem likely that they'll be putting much effort into a quality handheld version anytime soon =/
