I would be looking forward to Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, but after seeing the trailer, it seems it forced in too many unnecessary and obnoxious camera angles to show off the gimmicky 3D aspect.

That is a concern but I'd be more worried about Ridge Racer. It looks like it's a straight port of the iphone version and doesn't even look as good as the PSP launch one!

I have to admit, I'm really disappointed with the overemphasis on bringing preexisting titles to the 3ds. I'm stoked for kid Icarus, tho!

Looking at everyone's lists so far, I'd say they've made the right choice.

I, for one, like the idea of playing an updated version of Ocarina of Time on a handheld ;)

So far all I've seen are stock images that were taken from the iPhone version. It's still a ways from being finished as I understand it, so I wouldn't worry just yet.

I'm sure the new IPs will start to appear after the launch has died down a bit. Pushing a new IP is hard enough when the console you are pushing it on has a well established install base! I know that when I spend $300+ on this new experimental system I'm going to want to test it out with something I know well already... like Zelda or Mario Kart. I'm much less likely to get a Red Steel which may or may not work.

Having said that, I'm sure we will see some really risky and interesting games hitting 3DSWare within the first few months. I'm looking forward to the Bit Trip like games on 3DSWare. :)

Kinda hard to get excited for an experimental game on an experimental (and expensive) system. I have a feeling it'll be a while before I even think of trying a non-sequel game on the 3DS.

I'd say I'm most excited for Resident Evil (both The Mercenaries and Revelations) and Zelda.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

Of all the games I saw in action, I'd have to say Kid Icarus was the one that left me the most excited from a visual and gameplay standpoint. Just wondering what all they'll be able to do with it on land and in the air. Seemed like it would have a very wide variety of gameplay mechanics in it. But Paper Mario is the one I'll probably enjoy the most, given my love for the series.
