Speaking from experience (having played Animal Crossing with both kid & adult players), I think the older you are, the more you'll like Animal Crossing.
This.
I'm 30 and really loved Animal Crossing Wild World, while the game isn't too complicated or taxing I think the older you are the more you'll get out of it... I remember characters coming in or events happening that were little references to TV shows & things from when I was a child.
Plus it doesn't hurt that things like looking after the town & planting trees could get rather monotonous for little kids... where it's just a fun version of tidying up for us oldies!!
5 - 125 years old (apologies to anyone 126 years old, but we don't want you hurting those thumbs now do we!)
@Xyphon22 That was exactly what I was thinking that would happen to me(Friends laughing at me). I know it's a fun game, but my friends would want to play Halo by far. Although, my friends do know I'm a less "violent" person when it comes to gaming.
Not extremely into nintendo at the moment, but not really into anything else either. :|
Mmm...quite a complex topic. For once, there isn't any violent content in the game that requires raising the rating that much, but on the other hand, most of the tasks presented to the players, are quite hard and difficult for a 3 year old. You know what? For once, I wouldn't mind having this set to 13 and up.
You may need to be more cautious with who your buying this game for as I've just heard that Nintendo are pulling a Conker's bad fur day with this where Resetti goes into swear filled rage when he sees you after not saving, Crazy Redd is a drug dealer and the Walrus that comes to your town asking for food starts eating the villagers if you don't give him any.

Apparantly you can carjack people and beat up the locals, just for this they're renaming it Grand Theft Crossing.
