...yeah my Circle Pad broke...sorta, I guess this is what everyone was talking about, the little pad thing comes off. Dunno if it was already worn and Smash Bros basically finished it off, but....anyways wanted to ask since I can't find the solution at the moment, Super Glue does work right? Figured a tiny dab in the middle would keep the pad on for good. (and no I won't spray the entire thing, I'm not an idiot, lol)
So, only the grey thing came off? Super glue should fix it, then.

At least, I'm pretty sure it'd work. Don't trust me completely, though. It's best to get a second opinion first. And maybe a third, and a fourth, and....

are you outside of your warranty? The idea of putting glue on the 3ds just freaks me out. I'd rather have Nintendo repair it.

My circle pad is good still, although I don't know if it's just me or whatever but it seems a little tiny bit loose, at first when I touch it and move it slighty, it was stiff, but now it moves a bit....maybe it's just me but what are you doing to cause the rubber and stuff to come off?
Also is the XL's circle pad better then the others, because I got a XL so...
20 hours of play and mine doesn't even look worn. What the heck are you all doing?
Well I do have a launch system, I'm sure that's part of the reason...lol.
I'm sure it's from when you get grabbed by some thing Smash (the Hands or Galaga, for example) where you have to struggle to get away from them, that caused the thing to come off.
EDIT: Annnnd I can't find the glue, go figure. T.T
Same deal as @bezerker99 with my brother's circle pad. He blames Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. He just puts it back on whenever it happens, no glue. N-E-way, I forget, has this happened to any 3DS XL circle pads?
I think so, not sure...although I remember seeing pics of people actually breaking the pads, rather than having the thing fall off. (the circle pad coming off from this game I can see just happening now, but actually breaking the thing is kinda...stupid. lol)
EDIT: Might as well bring this up, but...is the "New" system really worth waiting for? I was thinking about getting it, but then heard that all of the regular 3DS games will not make use of the improved visuals/graphics or CPU. I dunno how many New 3DS games we're getting exactly but Xenoblade doesn't interest me. Wondering if I should just go ahead and get an XL. >.>
Mine cracked right down the middle just casually playing Mario Tennis Open for about a month. (Nintendo Replaced it but I stopped playing the game at that point). I think it was made badly. (2DS demo units seem to have a perfect circle pad.) mine was a launch 3DS XL.
