Topic: Weird Notifications?

When I opened my 3DS today, I had 3 notifications. There were all basically the same message, but for Nintendo Video, Swapnote, and Pokedex 3D. Anyone else have these?

It said they would show up on your HOME Menu and then you just had to download it... I don't see the point in it really. I just want the ability to delete notifications...

I received these too, I just assumed someone at Nintendo was playing with the system and accidentally clicked "send".

It's not as weird as the game preview Spotpass messages saying things like

Isn't Art Academy 1st party and Colors isn't? It that is the case then it makes sense...

I'm pretty sure it was just a notification about them pushing that software to your 3DS. If you had already downloaded the software it was a pointless message, if you hadn't then you'd get an icon on your 3DS pointing you to download it on the eShop. So it wasn't weird or a mistake... it was an advertisement of sorts.

The one about Pokedex made me laugh. I think I completed that last summer. And it's still advertised so heavily in the eShop - why do we need another announcement for it? If they're going to do that, they should at least give us some new content or reason to care.
