Okay, so while we're on the subject of what iconic Nintendo personalities should be exposed to our eyes in 3D one cannot afford to forget about everyone's favorite greedy, munching and money grabbing Wario!
So just how should Wario go about making his 3D debut?
1. Should Wario play it safe and revert back to a remake of 'Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3'?
2. How about a port of Virtual Boy Wario Land?
3. Something akin to the story and game play of Wario Land 3
4. Wario World 2 | A sequel to the smashing Wario World GameCube game!
5. Wario Land: Shake It sequel!
6. Wario Master of Disguise 2
Another great Wii experience for me was the beautifully detailed and crafted Wario Land Shake It. That game was such a blast of eye candy that it actually caused me to really like Wario as a character and I'd love to play a game with that kind animation on the 3DS. I really enjoyed Wario Land Shake It and I'd love to play a sequel to it on the 3DS. The animation cut-scenes in Wario Land Shake It rival the eye candy that Maple Story is.

I am all for a new Wario game for the 3ds. Something like Wario Land Shake Dimension will be just fine. It was one of the best looking games on the Wii imo. I prefer the sidescrolling platformers to 3d Wario games. It must be an all new and fresh title, no remakes please.

I may be in the minority, but if I were to take off the spiffy sparkly nostalgia shades...I would label Wario Land Shake it! Better than any 2D mario game ever created. The visuals.....omg, the controls were so tight, the level design was genious, the bosses were such a blast, the motion tilt controls and shaking honestly floored me by how fun, intuitive and fresh they made the experience. You would know if you played around with the Air Craft controls or Wario's vehicle. Even the shaking feels fantastic when shaking treasure out of a money bag as opposed to just pressing a button. Also the music has heart, a lot of it hits the right strings and sets the mood, while some of it seems pretty mediocre and somewhat lame.
The 2nd boss battle facing off against that dude on the motercycle, while using tilt controls and pressing the A button to unleash Wario's spring boxing glove was freaking ACE! wonderful stuff!
Again, with this one it's all about going for the objectives....which makes the experience totaly satisfying and incredibly INCREDIBLY challenging. I scored 100 percent, yay me. No other videogame has put me through this amount of challenge.....Pure tortue, but FUN torture.lol
Anyways, YES i'd love to see a new Wario Land!

Oh yes! Now we're talking!
However, I noticed that no one is talking about Wario Master of Disguise. Did you guys not like it?
@WaveBoy, you sir are a man among men! You're one of the BEST Big N fans I've ever met on Nintendo fan boards. I love reading your post!

Haven't played it.....It's been getting weak sauce reviews though.I've only played and beaten WL1 and Shake it. yet i have WL2 and WL3 in my GB collection....while i still need to get WL4.Knowing me I'm probably going to wait for the 3DS's VC to get WL2 and WL3 so i can play them on that....But that may take a while, as in years.....Same deal with Mega Man V.....oh god.
Anyways! Which do you guys feel is the best WL out of the franchise? 1,2,3,4 or Shake it? While 1 is a fantastic GB game, Shake it! for me easily takes the cake.

I agree WaveBoy. Out of ALL the Wario entries none is better than Wario Land Shake It! Wario World on the GameCube is indeed splendid but if I had to lay down all I had on simply one Wario title then I'd go with Wario Land Shake It every single time.

I missed out on Wario: Master of Disguise
Yes. And hopefully, it won't use touch screen this time around (let's have the touch-based WarioWare games take a break).

I would say yes to all of that, but especially Wario World. That was one of my favortie Gamecube games and it was what made me first like Wario. Wario Land: Shake It! having a sequel would be great too, as well as an inevitable Warioware. I haven't played Wario: Master of Disguise yet.

ahhhhhh wario world, i beat that game 100% and it took forever without a strategy guide! it was also one of the best games on gamecube and wario world 2 on 3ds would be absolutely incredible.

Wario: MAster of Disguise is awful. It could be a bit decent if they didn't control the entire game with the touch screen. Like the review here says: If you're going to do that, at least make the controls precise! And the final boss battle was the rotten icing on the garbage cake.
