I just thought I would pass along that some Walmart stores have already lowered the price of the 3DS, so you can get the discount and the 20 free games. If a Walmart is close by, I think it would be worthwhile to check it out.

As an Ambassador, I find this slightly annoying. I'm glad I purchased my system early as I've had loads of fun with it, but I don't like the idea of people being rewarded for being "early adopters" of the system when they purchased it for the lower price.
I like to think at least more people will get 20 free games. Good for them. Good for Nintendo too. They get more money. Then again; I'm an over positive person. Which can actually get annoying.

Wow....im..really pissed off now. Like....just....im speechless...
Are you... Are you serious? You're upset because somebody else who has absolutely no relation to you is getting something good? You're upset because you don't want other people to have a lucky opportunity that you didn't have? Look, I'm really sorry, but what is wrong with you people?
Sure, I'll just brush away the unfairness of the situation and forget about the whole thing. The free games are for those who purchased the system for $250. If you bought it for $250, you deserve the games; if you didn't, you don't. I'm sorry for being upset by an unfair situation? There's nothing "wrong" with me for feeling annoyance because of cheaters. And yes, it is cheating. They're cheating the system by joining the Ambassador program, despite the $170 pricetag they paid for their 3DS.
I could care less about what other people think about me saving $80 and getting some free games (a few of which I still have for their original systems or on the Wii VC) but the way I see it is that Nintendo just got another customer who will purchase more of their software down the line (Star Fox, Mario 3DS, Kid Icarus, and more) so it's essentially more money and sales for them in the long run. I had no intention of purchasing a 3DS unless a great deal came along that changed my mind, Walmart did that and Nintendo now has one more 3DS owner.
Nintendo is being rather smart regarding the price drop. Walmart is smart for selling it at the price a few days early so the sales show a lot sooner. A week or so can matter for Nintendo to see how it does, regardless if it's only walmart.
I was an early adopter for the 3DS, on day one, and do NOT regret it. I love my 3DS!

Sakura Samurai Art of the Sword
I have one already so I don't really care what people pay for it now. I just want to be able to get Streetpass hits!!! Cheaper price = more adopters = more hits!!!
