If Nintendo are doing remakes for the 3DS, then how about Virtual Boy Wario Land? Generally considered the best Virtual Boy game, a system that was meant to start portable 3D gaming. Surely it just makes sense? I'm a fan of the Wario Land series and would like the opportunity to play this game, especially without the prospect of headaches.
That game and Mario Clash was the only reason I bought the Virtual Boy. I never had a problem with Headaches when playing the Virtual Boy. Anyways I would love to see a remake of Wario Land on the 3DS. Also wouldnt mind a Mario Clash remakes as well.

Personally I doubt that they'd do it...Nintendo only seems to reference the Virtual Boy at all in semi-official ways at best (referring to their magazines), and even then it always seems to be a joke at their own expense.
I'm not saying I wouldn't want this to happen personally--I absolutely would!--but I'm not sure Nintendo is interested in treating the Virtual Boy as anything but a rightfully forgotten debacle.
Perhaps Nintendo could release it like the Super Mario Advance series or SMB2 US, under the title Wario Land 5 or something Or merely include the levels in a new Wario Land game (maybe even unlockable). Am I right in thinking the game was quite short?
@CowLaunch I actually had the same thought when they announced the 3DS virtual console having Game Boy games. The only game that I have for my Virtual Boy is Mario's Tennis, so it would be pretty cool to be able to play the other titles (or at least the ones that were semi-decent).

I'd love to have Mario Clash and Virtual Boy Wario Land on the Nintendo 3DS along with Virtual Boy Mario Tennis. Perhaps Nintendo would release the former as as a sequel to the original Mario Clash while the Virtual Boy Wario Land would actually be a from the ground up remake for the the 3DS just as Ocarina of Time is for the 3DS.

@BassX0 I never had an N64 so I don't particularly care for the OoT or Starfox 64 remakes either. Though I may get the OoT remake just to see what all the fuss has been about.
And my impression from this thread is that people want VB Wario Land on 3DS VC or something. To "remake the VB game and then add 200% more game to it" is exactly what I meant - make a new game rather than a strict port. Technology has moved on and if they want to show off their new hardware then they should make new games for it, not this:
Yeah. Give the top screenshot the graphics of the bottom screenshot, keep all the stage layouts the same with perhaps a new gimmick maybe then go from there, creating a lot more new levels.

Actually Mackeral, in my petition I do make it clear to Nintendo that a new take on the classic Virtual Boy classics Mario Clash and Wario Land would be in order. I give voice for new graphics and updated imagery for Wario Land in the art and presentation for Wario Land: Shake It and fully 3D rendered world for Mario Clash in he vein of Mario Hoops 3 on 3's multiplayer hub world worlds.

Since when have Nintendo so much as acknowledged petitions, VB support I can definitely live without, but petition away I doubt Miyamoto is standing by waiting for the email or will ever even hear of it for that matter, probably get the same ready made statement the staff give to every such petition.

Man, what you've said might be true but I'v been able to get some good responses from Nintendo, GameStop and others. In fact I was able to get quite a nice bit of information out of a Nintendo representative I met at Wal-Mart in Oxnard, California and it was all about the DSi and that was back when the DSi was out in Japan and not here in the USA. I've also been able to squeeze some details as to how the 3DS will be promoted here in the is USA from a Nintendo gentlemen along with info on Nintendo Zone.
My problem is I don't stop, as I can't stop utill I get what it is that I'm after. So, if it's okay I' gonna send off my petition to Ninendo wth a link directing whowever it is that reads it to this thread. I've also given credit to CowLaunch in my letter as it was because of his thread that I began to tweak my ideas a bit regarding the 3DS and the Virtual Boy. BTW my petition is quite pointed and I'm coming off heavy in my tone. I think it'll accomplish what it is that I'm after anyway at lest, if nothing else. Nintendo can't ignore us, the fans. They can't afford to ignore us. What the heck? Ignoring the fans would the lamest thing they could do!
