Along with the other features included with the 3DS, don't you want vibration with it? Like when your playing the metal gear solid game they announced for the 3ds?

Not really. And considering that the rumble could mess up the motion sensors, I highly doubt that it will be put in there.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

Yes, and the motion controls worked fine with it on. WarioWare: Twisted also had it, and the gyroscope was the most important part, and it still worked with it. It might work for 3DS.

I'm back (for the moment)!

No, because that would be yet another thing to drain the battery

But what if you had the option to turn it on and off?

It would most likely mess up the "sweet spot" necessary to even view the 3D effect.

Then what's the point in having it.

not interested. it wouldn't be good when you're trying to use a touchscreen while the 3DS is vibrating :/

Kinky but not very practical, don't want the thing vibrating when I'm trying to draw something, drawing the hourglass shape on PH's final boss was touchy enough, vibration would of drove me mad.

I meant vibrating when there is a "shock". Like if your playing metroid prime and you get hit by a charged gun fire.

it be useless on aything using the stylus though, it'd mess your aim on FPS for example, touch screens are a bit too precise for rumble I think.

A Vibrating Handheld is the last thing we need.

But, how about Smell-O-Vision? goes Great with Wario Games

Vibration is good if Nintendo can turn this into a alarm, or a phone but other than that, I wouldn't want vibration on a handheld.

No. The 3D effect should already drain the battery enough, why should Nintendo add a vibration motor and drain the battery? It would also be impossible by now because once you start putting something in to production, it's hard to change it. By adding one in it makes the system bigger, meaning you need to design a whole new casing for it, make it heavier and confuse people who read the old size and weight specs thinking they are the current specs.

I'm pretty okay.

I had the same idea, idk34, but now the flaws have been pointed out, I guess it's not such a good idea after all. Maybe it could be used for the button-only games though. It wouldn't affect the 3D that much, would it?

A vibrating clamshell case is a terrible idea, there's no way of knowing what kids will stick in there!

Hokori

Ahhh I think it a great idea i mean that way people can play there DS games and still have rumble
