Hey!

Recently my new 3ds battery has been acting weird, it's drained fast and usually when the warning led lamp started blinking for low battery it dies within 20 seconds.. I opened up the backplate and saw that its battery was a bit bulky and I read that those batteries should not be used..

Anway to make a long story short I have and old 3ds which uses almost the same battery (A 1300 mAh battery instead of a 1400 mAH battery) and the dimensions are a bit off, the old 3ds battery is smaller.

Would it hurt my new 3ds by installing the old 3ds battery? I managed to fit a small bit of silicone plastic in there to keep it in place since its a bit smaller.

I can't seem to find a replacement battery online anyware, thats why im asking..

I would suggest not doing that, if only for the chance that the battery might get knocked loose while playing and turn the system off on you.

It sits there firmly tbh.. Anyway I would love to order a new one from Nintendo but they only accept US or canadian customers on the US site

@dferrit You have 2 options, first, try your regional Nintendo website, I don't know what region you are in or I'd give you that link. Second, use a Visa card or other international credit card.

Why don't you try buying with an international credit card and use a freight forwarder?

Or maybe contact your local Nintendo rep. The costumer service usually can point you on where you can buy replacements.

I have a chronic lack of time, for everything.

Now playing: Okami HD, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
