Recently my new 3ds battery has been acting weird, it's drained fast and usually when the warning led lamp started blinking for low battery it dies within 20 seconds.. I opened up the backplate and saw that its battery was a bit bulky and I read that those batteries should not be used..
Anway to make a long story short I have and old 3ds which uses almost the same battery (A 1300 mAh battery instead of a 1400 mAH battery) and the dimensions are a bit off, the old 3ds battery is smaller.
Would it hurt my new 3ds by installing the old 3ds battery? I managed to fit a small bit of silicone plastic in there to keep it in place since its a bit smaller.
I can't seem to find a replacement battery online anyware, thats why im asking..
i will say no due too fire and it may not be able to handle the n3ds also the contacts may not match up right
for safety no i will send it in or get a new battery

@dferrit You have 2 options, first, try your regional Nintendo website, I don't know what region you are in or I'd give you that link. Second, use a Visa card or other international credit card.
