Hey guys,

So, I was wondering, if using a magic eraser, rubbing alcohol, or some other chemical for 3DS XL paint discoloration is advisable? I have a slight paint discoloration on my 3DS XL, which I will probably just leave because I think it came that way. when I bought it, but may try to use a chemical like one I listed if it is advisable to get rid of the discoloration. Do you all recommend any sort of procedure/chemical for a paint discoloration and if so what may it be? I saw some forums recommending a magic eraser but is it advisable? Thank you all for your input!!!

Your 3DS likely has Vitiligo. Just adapt to it's changes in color and continue to care for it.

I would just leave it alone. Whatever you do, don't use magic eraser, as that's like using really fine sandpaper, and it will wear away some of the surface.
