Yeah I'm not fond of just how expensive it's gonna be right out the gate. I'm a huge P4 fan so I'm still looking forward to it. I plan on waiting as it will most likely come to the eshop and will eventually go on sale. With so many good games coming out around the same time this year as PQ It makes the choice even easier to make for me. I'm already digging through the couch trying to find enough change to get Story of Seasons and the upcoming remake of PKMN Sapphire. I wonder if their was a reason for the increased price (even in the states is still 10 dollars more than a normal new 3DS game), other than just greed?

To be fair, Persona Q doesn't seem to be any more representative of the Persona experience than Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is representative of the Metal Gear Solid experience. The plot, characters, and music might resemble a Persona game, but the gameplay absolutely won't (unless we're about to get an Etrian Odyssey-style game with social links and other life sim elements!).

I hope this isn't true. If I wanted to play EO I'll just go play my practically unplayed copy of Untold. I want as much of a Persona experience that I can get from this and even though it's a dungeon crawler per say I want a different feel to this and not basically Untold with different characters.
I'm pretty sure the combat will be vastly different and that to me is the main point I guess. We better not have to draw our own maps lol!

After 140 plus hours on EO4 I was a bit burnt out tbh. I wouldn't mind a new one say every 2 years but Untold came far too soon imo. It wasn't even a year. More like 10 months and that's a lot of dedication to one series. I would have a hard time playing through 2 Zelda games back to back like that.
So yes I agree and that's why I'm really hoping this is a different beast all together. Maybe just the character models and mode will be the only similarities and it will carve out a different path then EO. If it's too much like it I think many Atlus fans might be disappointed but those that haven't played EO might still enjoy it.
Either way I'm not going to play it till next year anyways. I'll read reviews and make my own judgment on it and how bad I need it and when. I've got Untold, Overclocked, Bravely Default, SMT IV, Soul Hackers, Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, and Fire Emblem to keep me busy. Add in Fantasy Life and I'm set for 2 more years. Oh wait please give us Break Code is it? I'll be day one on that one and sell my ds copy for sure.
Dang I never finish games. Only EO4 from that list lol and it wasn't even on that list. There's like 500 hours or more of games there. That's scary lol!
And my poor Radiant Historia. Oh my, what if that are planning a 3ds version of that!!! Maybe I'll finally finish it!

Right. I love the series, but they're coming out too close together. It's starting to approach NSMB levels of milking now.
I can't play two games in a series in a row. I crave variety. Same with books, movies, anything really. It's why I hate movie marathons.
I've owned Radiant Historia for a year and have yet to even pop it into my machine!
Well 60 is a lot I just will have to see I got shimagi 4 for 30. If it does have a etrion skin I'm all about it. I hope the level ups are like EO4 where you put it on auto pilot and bet a rubber band.

If you do put it in your 3ds it might never come out lol. I actually regret not finishing that more then any of the above. Yes, it's just that good! It's so fresh and different. Maybe I'll play that next instead of Untold now that I've talked it up! I shouldn't have even mentioned it because now I'm getting that urge to play it. Strong urge at that.
