I may be one of the few, but I actually use my 3DS to upload pictures onto facebook and other websites. However, today to my horror facebook greeted me with the message "sorry, your browser does not support photo uploads. Please consider the option below". Has anyone experienced this dilema?

Facebook doesn't optimize their site for any handheld gaming device. They have a mobile version, but those don't upload as well since phones themselves can send the photo to Facebook, making the developers care less about any mobile devices. The uploader was implemented mainly for computers.

I see, it just seems weird that I had the ability to upload photos and then nothing. At least I always have a Plan B.

Yeah, have been upload and downloading photos on Facebook using m 3DS since the Internet Browser became available via the update and when I read your post and tried to post a random picture and your right. I wonder why the sudden change, mabey it could be a good sign in that they plan on releasing an app for the 3DS otherwise I see no reason for removing functionality that was working fine.

It doesn't help that Facebook's been updating/rearranging itself for like months now. :/

I don't even bother attempting to upload photos to Facebook with my 3DS. Here's what I do:
1. Remove SD card with photos from 3DS
2. Copy SD card data to main computer
3. Return SD card to 3DS
4. Go into the folder "DCIM" and find the desired photo
5. Go to Facebook, upload photos as desired

Not that hard, unless you don't have an SD card reader for your computer.

Exactly.

...not only that, but with free wifi I could do it wherever I was and just taken the photos without need of a computer.

What the...? I could upload photo's before. The more updates they make to Facebook, the more I hate it...

I wonder if there is a Facebook app coming? Weird that you can't upload photo's all of a sudden... kinda like what happened to BBC iPlayer, it wouldn't work on the Wii and then a channel was released...

That's really strange because on the DSi there was a button in the Photo app specifically for uploading to Facebook. I wonder if that's still works? The only reason I joined FB was because of that DSi feature.
I agree with you, xDemon720x - the more FB changes things, the more I hate it.

I can only hope a Facebook feature will be released for the 3DS sometime in the future. If the DSi could do it, I am pretty sure the 3DS should be able to do it better.
