Topic: Updates you want to see

What update or features would you like to see come to the 3DS?

One for me is to know which friend came online instead of the little notification saying 1 friend online.
I would also like to see all games get the join game feature. Resident Evil Revelations came out after Mario Kart 7. No reason for the feature not to be available.

Now i got the ball rolling. What would you like to see?

voice and camera chat,many people can join a room
if possible MAYBE a phone?they can possibly make some sort of deal with a company with this(but i see all the eshop cards gone for this)

I'd like a Swapnote update that allows the original writer of a message to comment as well as let s person comment more than once on a note. That's a good idea about the Friend list you had! I would also like the option to view your friends' collections. That would be neat

EDIT: Almost forgot the most important one: Nintendo NEEDS to allow us to launch DSiWare applications off the SD card. If this happened, 3DS would be perfect!

A custom...theme...or, something I dunno for the home menu, lol.
Also, some sort of instant messenger thing, I mean...the messages you put for your friend list to see is "bleh", stupid limited space. And Swap Note is ok, but apparently you can only reply once...and you can't even reply to your own notes. T.T

might become important,i dont have a cell and dont want one,so it would be nice to use it if i need to call someone badly,with the eshop cards is for paying for your calls

Yes, they can totally improve the system's graphics and add a second pad via an update...right. lol

oh woops i thought this was for the supposobly new 3ds lite ( our whatever you want to call it) and i was saying that they should add a second circlepad

I posted this in another fairly similar thread, but it may fit better with this topic. This is a relativly minor quibble, but I really would like to see this implemented via an update.

That would be one impressive update

In-game video recording software like Fraps for the 3DS would be awesome.
Being able to customize themes by uploading them via SD card or with pictures taken with 3DS camera would be nice as well.

Happens to me too, but yeah I don't think the graphics improvement isn't necessary until the next generation. Maybe a higher resolution or something, I dunno.

A way to make summer/winter time correct whithout corrupting games!!!

I think someone said earlier something like customization on the home menu, I like that idea a lot. It IS your own personal handheld so I wish there was some way to customize the "theme" or whatever. I also want to see more Swapnote features, maybe just integrate it fully into the operating system. More friend list options. Improved eShop maybe? I also really hope they do some huge update that integrates the Nintendo Network. I don't want Wii U to get all the nice online features from it and 3DS just kind of happen "behind the scenes" so to speak.

I would find little use for it, but I know a "face time" type of video chat application would be welcome by lots of users. Another peg to match the "vs. iPod/Phone/Pad" dilemma for consumers.

I'd love it if you could take/save screen-shots, too. Pushing the Home button already temporarily saves an image of the top and bottom screens, so just add a button to save that as a picture. Maybe it could be put into the Memo application, where you can view the top and bottom screens for note-taking already.
