This one is even more justified as underrated by the fact none of you have mentioned it yet. However, I do see why as it is Skylanders but still horribly underrated- to this day I still hold the opinion this is the best single player experience that the franchise offers.

To chime in I agree 3D Land is horribly overrated- I liked it but it's given too much praise, definetly not a 10/10 or 9/10 IMO, solid 8/10 to me cause the game was great but godawfully easy and it didn't really do much we haven't seen.

I'd like to say that I recommend my my Backloggery, but I haven't updated it in a long time!

3D Land got pretty challenging in regards to nabbing the Star Coins during the 'later' Special World/stages. Tail whipping enemies, blocks and what have you with the Tanooki suit in 3D is extrmeely fun and satisfying, tiny mario makes his apperance for the first time in a 3D mario ever, ditching the health meter was a nice move, giving Mario new moves such as the roll, roll jump and mini leap made the experience even more zippity, diverse and fun, the run button was a nice retro throwback AND bringing back the Air ships(which shine in 3D) from SMB3 were ace! ALL in stereoscopic 3D.

The downsides however to 3D Land would have to be that it only runs in 30 frames per second. You can blame that on the stereoscopic 3D effect as it drains quite a bit of graphical power. Super Mario Galaxy smokes 3DLand in the graphics department that's a given. 3DLand is also a bit on the uncreative side and by the time i made it during the mid point of the remixed & random 'special World' i was kind of burnt out. Still a great game, but not quite as great as most reviewers are making it out to be.

3D Land was about as challenging as it was lazy.

Let's face it 3d land was a bit of a cash run but Nintendo had to do it as quickly as possible in the short live of the 3ds. I liked it but definitely didn't love it. I 100% it then got back 30$ store credit. That made my day! Also NSMB2 was a major cash run but I seemed to like it a bit more then 3d land.

Def Paper Mario Sticker Star. Cause I mean really? 8.3/10? 75/100? 2 stars out of 5? This game is way better than people are making it sound, it's like Super Mario 3D Land RPG version! The power-ups are so awesome and creative and the game itselfis SO MUCH FUN! Why do people hate it more than TTYD? Personally (here starts the fan-war) I thought it was better than TTYD. (Gun shot, war begins) o(0o0)o

Classic Sonic will always be the number 1 Sonic! I think Modern Sonic's great but will never beat my original Classic Sonic.

I didn't care for TTYD much either. I much rather play Sticker Star!! It's funny how people cry out for change but when it happens those same people say why did you make so many changes!

Really I think an underrated game would be Rhythm Thief & The Emperors Treasure

at first this game was CRAZY popular. But that only lasted like....
A week.... Well less then a week.

then it fizzled out and I don't hear anyone playing it, even though its an amazingly great game.

It rated well but not too many people picked up Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. It's my favorite launch title and still holds up well to what's released today.

Definitely! The story may be very generic, but the gameplay was quite enjoyable. I'm not one to usually go back and do additional missions after I finish the main story, but this is one game where I've done that on. If you like Fire Emblem, I would certainly enjoy checking this out. It's pretty similar.

Also, I've gotta agree with a few of the people on here that said 3DLand was kind of a disappointment. I won't be so harsh as some, but it just wasn't quite as grand as I had expected somehow based on the reviews.

Honestly, I found the demo to be fairly boring, so I never even bothered...
What makes it so great?

Kid Icarus: Uprising. I love it a ton and know some that love it a ton, but really, it just doesn't seem like that many people play it.

@FiveDigitLP
I actually thought the demo was boring too... but I decided I'd give the game a shot.

I loved it, the demo was boring to me because it was just random mini games that I had no idea what the story was behind them.

In the actual game every mini game has a part of the story And once you finish it you can continue with the story line.
Which made it way more fun for me.
and the minigames in the actual game are way more fun then the demo ones.

So that is what made it so amazingly great IMO.
(I like using "way more fun" a lot >_<)

oh and the STORY LINE... Oh the story line. It's a great story line that got me so excited I couldn't put it down.

This was my first 3DS game, and I'm glad it was

Interesting. Thanks for you thoughts! I might have to look a little more into the game then.

I know! Not saying Thousand Year Door was bad... it's just, Paper Mario Sticker Star combined elements from mainline Mario platformers with classic RPG elements, and all new elements. Nintendo was right, this might as well be a new sub-genre: Sticker Battle Adventure! I hope the next Paper Mario game is more like Sticker Star... :)

I thought PMSS was going to be like TYD but I still enjoy sticker star. I hope the next one (Wii U I hope ;3) will be like TYD

Personally, the partners were half the fun for me in the first three Paper Mario games, so Sticker Star just doesn't seem very interesting to me. It's also the kind of system that would drive me insane, because I feel like I need to save all my resources for later.

Yes I know its multiple reviews. But Most of them are troll reviews who haven't even played the game before, and the ones that are real reviews don't even make sense

It's the only decent way to get aggregate reviews (or GameRankings). And the majority are quality, otherwise they wouldn't and shouldn't be there. Yes, this means some bad reviewers like Jim Sterling have been plopped in there, but what can you do? I'm not gonna use one opinion to make a claim.

Meh. There's tons of 3DS downloads that alone make the system worth it, even if you never go to the store ever again and order Chinese food to your door all day, everyday. I haven't seen any 'underrated' games for 3DS actually... I do have to say though, that GCN Paper Mario was the best one IMO. I did like the story for the first one best though...
