Meh, might as well. Also including 3DSWare.

Kid Icarus: Uprising - 83/100 on Metacritic. Not truly underrated, but the reviewers were smoking something when they scored it that low, especially Destructoid. Screw you Jim Sterling.
Crush3D - 71/100 on Metacritic an 0.04m sales on VGChartz. Hell no. Even if it's a port, it's justified by the fact that only 4 people played the original. This game is so brilliant it deserves much higher scores
Nano Assault - 0.04m on VGChartz - Too low for a brilliant game.
Bit.Trip Saga - 0.06m on VGChartz - Less underrated then the Wii collection, but still, why?

Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (61/100 on Metacritic) - It may not be innovative, but it sure as heck is fun to play, and is actually my favorite launch game. There's over 40 playable characters, & absolutely loads of missions.

Family Tennis 3D - It's not necessarily that it got low reviews (in contrast, it was liked by those who did review it), but it was pretty much ignored by reviewers (it didn't even get the 4 review minimum for Metacritic). Again, it's nothing innovative, but it's pure simple fun, & it's sad it was ignored just because people automatically assumed it was some sort of shovelware.

I am playing this game even as I tyoe this. It got great reviews but no one seemed to buy it. (The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time)
Even if you have played through the game hundreds of times on N64, get this version, it is fantastic! It gave OOT a generation graphical boost. It looks like a gamecube title.

Yeah... No. It's a great game but it's far from underrated (both original and remake sold like crack)

Oh yeah, Order Up may constitute.

Critically, it's not too bad, a tad low at 72/100. I would personally rank higher but it does have some flaws. Saleswise I estimate wasn't so bad either considering it got over 1000 ratings. My main problem is the potential loss of sales with that asscrap demo. But that's based off of pure assumption so I can't really say.

Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D and Shinobi come to mind.

I'd agree that Uprising is a tad underrated; people harped on the controls far too much. I got used to them about the 2nd/3rd level in.

Thanks for the info :) Because I had always heard that it didn't do very well on 3DS

I have to agree about uprising, the controls aren't anywhere as bad as people make them out to be. The camera can be a bit of a pain during ground stages though. The game also seemed to fall of the radar a bit as far as I could tell.

It was actually my first 3DS game but the only reason I even remembered it at the time was I had to take my first 3DS back due to a few stuck pixels so I was looking through adds for 3DS deals and saw it for $10 off at Bestbuy.

Definitely Uprising.
So sick about people whining about the controls and getting hand cramps with a game where the controls probably couldn't have been done more perfectly.
But I shall not get into this again.

I'm sure there's plenty others, but I can't be bothered thinking right now.

It rated well but not too many people picked up Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. It's my favorite launch title and still holds up well to what's released today.

If anything I think most 3ds games that I have played are over-rated..

Hey I'm serious. Super Mario 3d Land is my prime example. Most reviews I've seen have given it overwhelming praise, but when I played it, I found a easy, rushed, generic Mario game. Not really worth a 9/10. The only amazing game on the system is Zelda OOT 3d and that is definitely not under-rated or over-rated..

Well then maybe that should read most Mario games are overrated. I happen to love quite a few 3ds games. Kid Icarus and Paper Mario just to name a few.

@kkslider Hey no need for name calling here. I've actually played plenty of third party games on the 3ds, but I've never really thought that any of them were particularily amazing..

Then you are playing the wrong 3rd party game! :P

To be honest there isn't a ton of third party games on any recent Nintendo system that are amazing.

@Tech101

RE: Revelations kind of came close....But Capcom Just had to stick in those horrible RE5 inspired mindless shoot-out episodes to broaden the appeal...sigh* I see it as a luke warm 8.5 There are moments of greatness, like the final section in Queen Dido which lead to one of the best final boss battles in RE History. :D Still, Revelations aint' no RE4. But it blows that disgrace RE6 out of the water....I'm still blown away by how terrible it is. The controls have taken a complete nose dive, the game doesn't feel like RE whatsoever and even the graphics look worse than RE5's...Talk about a watered down sell-out of a downgrade.

Also, i was goig to throw in Steel Diver as another underrated title, but reviews seem to be on the 6.5-7.0 mark. :p As far as launch titles go, Steel Diver beats out Nintendog's and Monkey Ball. Monkey Ball 3D is only worth playing for the stereoscopic 3D, which was AMAZING during the storybook 'pop out' world/theme introductions..I was checking them out the other day, and they still completely knock my DK socks off. :D too bad the actual game is a complete watered down beginners introduction to the franchise. Snooz fest.
