Topic: Transferring specific games between consoles

Hi,

I've just bought a limited edition Zelda 3DS XL, as well as a Yoshi XL edition. The Zelda edition has four downloaded games on it, but I wanted to transfer these games to my Yoshi console (which also has a couple of downloaded games). Is this possible? I have saved data on both consoles, but am really only going to use the Yoshi console most of the time and am looking to keep the Zelda console in mint condition. As such I want to transfer all of the games on to the one device, and ideally still leave the Zelda game on the Zelda console..

Is there any way of doing this or something close to doing this? I know you can transfer data between the two consoles, but I don't want to lose my downloaded games and am worried they will get overwritten if I do a transfer.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Well first off you can only transfer EVERYTHING So I am afraid that if you were to transfer your Zelda game will go to the Yoshi system. There is no picking and choosing what gets transferred what doesn't.

As for losing your downloaded games they will transfer over to the Yoshi system and then your Yoshi system will have all of your games. You might have to go to the eshop to redownload them all but you wont have to pay for them again.

No problem. I am sure that you can find videos and such around the web showing how to do the transfer just one tip save the contents of your SD card to a PC that way if something does go wrong you have all your data backed up. Also when you do that be sure not to move anything around like folders or such as that can corrupted the data.
