Topic: Transferring a Downloaded Game Question

We have a 2DS and we have purchased some e-games where they are downloaded to the system. The camera to the 2DS is not working correctly, and we were going to use a warranty we purchased with the system to get another one. Most likely when we use the warranty, they will probably give us a credit to get another one rather than repair it. I think their policy is that if the cost was under $100, then they just give you a credit for it. We got this one on sale for under $100. My first question is that if we first by a new 2DS, can we transfer the games that are downloaded to the old 2DS to the new 2DS? If the games can be transferred, then my second question is that will the stored data from the games (such as levels completed) also be transferred to the new 2DS?

If youre talking about a regular store, tell them about this problem and ask them, if you can take the system back home to transfer it over and later, bring the damaged one back to the store.
Around here, thats the way to do it. They will write down both serial numbers to check which system you bring back and will give you a few days to perform the system switch.

Regarding the transfer itself: You will transfer basicly everything from one system to the other. After the transfer, the new system will be exactly the same as before. So you wont loose anything in the transfer.
