In your honest opinion, from what we've seen so far is Tomadachi Life better than the sims?

Tomadachi life = Nintendo

Sims = EA

I think we have our answer right there.

I dont think that you can even compare those two. Both have a vastly different approach in terms of gameplay and style. And if you want to compare them just because they are "Life simulators" id say that Harvest Moon is the better Sims across the board.
Also, i dont think that Tomodachi Live will get texture DLC that costs you 30$

They don't really seem comparable. I've only played the mobile versions of the Sims and the spin-off My Sims for the Wii, but with Sims you are micromanaging your sims whereas in Tomodachi Life you seem to have almost no control over the people.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Tomodachi Life has more social aspect, Street pass is part of Tomodachi so I'll have fun deciding whom will live in the tent and who lives in the apartment.
Tomodachi Life is a 'Sims' killer.

To be quite frank everything I've seen from Tomodachi Life - 3DS both in Nintendo Direct & Youtube video's I'm very much looking forward to this title in June as for Sims the only Sim's game I've played was Sims 3 - 3DS & I was quite turned off from the sims series thank's to that game also ended up trading in sims 3 - 3ds in disgust of the content in the game to be brief.

I do like alot of game's in the simulation genre. Just not ''Sims'' by EA blehh...

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

The 3DS port of the sims 3 was just terrible, as usual with modern portable ports of the series.

But the games on PC are very good. (I specially recommend the sims 2, that's the best in the series).

The Sims 3 on PC has £320 of DLC doesn't matter how good it is it is not worth that much money.

Animal Crossing!
or Harvest Moon!
if you don't mind som more RPG elements and actual combat the absolute winner is Rune Factory!
I'm not trolling, just saying those games are better(even thought they aren't exactly the same type of game)

Why would you ever buy all of the expansions/DLC?

When I get something I get the lot. (Only interested in the complete game).

The Sims 2 + Pets and Businesses is all the Sims you'll ever need.

You may want to make an exception this one time.

Harvest Moon is a king with Tomodachi Life right beside him. The Sims is cool but its..... Its hard to explain. Animal Crossing is really good but it loses its charm incredibly fast cuz there isn't enough content or even a story.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!
