We have no idea on the exact time - I'm pretty sure they're implying that it's going to go up at the same time for everyone though. Meaning that it will be sometime in the night of the 6th for America, and early in the morning of the 7th in Europe and Japan.

I'm guessing the update will happen at 6 pm Pacific Time, because they said evening and I saw a screenshot of the eShop that said 6/6 at 6 pm on it — yeah 666, lol!
It's likely be just after 11pm GMT on the 6th because NOE is based in Germany. Our Wiiware/DSiware updates actually come on the Thursday.

Well, don't take my word as gospel. That's just how I think it will go.
I imagine they'll definitely want it up before their E3 conference so at latest it will be around Tuesday Afternoon.

Aren't Nintendo going to send a messages to indicate the update is available? Just wait for the little light in the top right.
It will most likely come a few days after/a week after as nintendo don't want their e-shop/update servers overloaded by everyone updating and going on the e-shop.

My guess is : it will launch exactly at the same time around the world, so late in the day in the US and in the night in Europe. At least, I'll have something to do during Sony's conference I'll have to cover, if it gets boring ^^
I suppose I should be glad that it's up late tomorrow as I have a lot to get done but still.......I know it's sad but I am very excited about this update!

That, of course, assumes we leave the 3DS on to receive Spot Passes. I certainly don't; i don't like the idea of leaving my 3DS and router on overnight.

in the uk the update will be at 0:00am as in america on the east coast it will be 7pm which is around evening and nintendo said that in america the update will be sent during the evening england and america have a 5 hour time difference so if the updates at 7pm america the update will be released at 0:00am in england
