The remakes are very well done. I prefer the handheld remake of Ocarina of Time for convenience mostly and have played that version a lot since it was relased, but the originals (or their emulated re-releases) have a real charm and still play well. The OoT disc that came with Wind Waker is a great version to play particularly for Europeans as it is 60hz. I also like the N64 visuals despite them being technically dated I played Majora's Mask on the Wii about 9 months before it was released on the 3DS and it didn't seem horrifically dated compared to the 3DS one.

Originals. I would rather play on tv, plus I have an original cartridge so no loss of the gerudo symbol, no loss of the chanting in the fire temple...etc. Plus I like the colors in the original better. The game controls better on the N64 for me as well. I like the 3ds versions but I prefer the originals. Not nostalgia talking either...recently beat both again on the n64.

I know you are being snarky cuz that is your thing, but I did actually state that it wasn't nostalgia talking... the topic asked for our opinion...I gave mine...just because I don't agree with everyone else doesn't it should be dismissed to nostalgia.

Very well, but, you see, that argument won't get you far.
After all, everyone who doesn't agree with me is just addled by nostalgia. #objectivetruthsftw

I prefer 64 Ganon's fight over 3ds Ganon's fight. I always felt like the 64 just nailed it with a dark, moody setting, spooky lightning, and the horrific, overwhelming King of Darkness (properly enshrouded in shadow) looming over everything. It's still good with the 3ds, but everything is too colorful. I liked Ganon being all mysterious and dark. It felt more epic, compared to his colorful rainbowesque details you can see now (as if there's a spotlight on the entire arena.
