Like you said the game is made in Japan, and because of that Viridi can't be a villain because she's too cute, loud and obnoxious. By anime/video game standards her character could never be a villain.

Aren't there loud and obnoxious villains in Japanese entertainment?

@LztheBlehBird
Yeah but they're usually not cute little girls and if they are they usually aren't serious villains and if they are serious villains they tend to have some creepiness factor to them which Viridi did not have. IDK why but an anime character's behavior is based on their looks which to me is like judging a book by it's cover which is pretty lame.

The fact that you couldn't doge properly in CH 10 and 7. (Maybe even more, can't think of any other now) I kept falling and burning.

Yeah the bosses could have done with a health meter and the vehicle sections were kinda average. Other than that I can't think of much to complain about at all. The controls worked and the whole thing was pretty well made. The campaign was reasonably long and episodic (perfect for portable!) and the intensity was a nice addition that made me want to go back and play the levels again. Ontop of that the multiplayer was awesome fun and I probably spent most of my time with the game playing online.

....... I guess they could have included a download play option.

I think the biggest problem is that dashing is too sensitive (just like in SSB Brawl), causing me to accidently dash off of way too many platforms. Sakurai needs to learn to put the dash sensitivity in his games somewhere in between Brawl and Melee.

I do agree on the lack of boss health bars.

The Exo Tank has a trick to it about which I wish the game would've informed us. I only figured it out by accident. You're not supposed to manually move the camera while driving it. Just steer it, and the camera will automatically follow behind you.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

#4) Childish dialogue/voice acting felt like I was listening to a 4Kids translation which also led me to not taking Hades seriously.
#3) That I couldn't choose between Paletuna's or Viridi's hub areas.
#2) Dark Pit was lame there was no real reason for him to even exist, they just put him in there because Japan loves those hard a** type of characters in their anime/games.
#1) I hated what the ultimate sacred armor was, it's just such a Japanese thing.

Maybe you needed to pay attention. This game was cleverly wrote.

This is the only character in The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya that could be considered a villain:

Not ranked in order.
1 - I dashed off ledges and catwalks constantly. My old platform gaming adage is "If there is a hole, I WILL fall in it". Though, on this occasion it wasn't my fault so much as it was the poor control scheme.
2 - Vehicle control was mostly HORRIBLE, I couldn't drive the ExoTank to save my life. The ball thing you ride in was very slidey but not quite as bad.
3 - NO Circle Pad Pro support for proper camera control, doing it with the stylus is just bad and lazy design. I got used to it yea but it made my arm hurt for days every single time I played it. The little stand didn't help and was impractical to use anyway, who sits at a desk to play a handheld game?? They could easily have given away a cool promo item rather than the stupid stand I didn't want.
4 - The difficulty settings are IMPOSSIBLE beyond 3 or 4, which means you can't EVER have enough money since items are INSANELY priced.
5 - You couldn't try weapons before fusing them to see if it was worth bothering! IE: Items with no range are totally worthless!

Yea playing as the girl and dog was pointless, but playing as the guy with the big sword (Magnus?) was kind of nice for a change.
Voiceovers in general were a bit kiddish but they were ok, they were just CONSTANT and impossible to keep up with during battle. Hades voice didnt bother me, I thought it worked. Yea Dark Pitt was pointless and I was never sure if he would be on my side or if I would have to fight him again.

I'm still hoping they will release a patch/update that allows for the CPP to be used.

good with a speeding bullet ;p -

Bread-Not-Toast

The only thing I didn't like about the game, apart from the controls is that Magnus and Gaul appears very little in the game, and I really wished there was a back story for them.

Yes, that is a problem

See my previous post on how to control the Exo Tank

The stylus controls work very well for most players once they get used to it, and the stand helps a lot for many people, myself included. You can always use button camera control if you think that's better. There's nothing wrong with sitting at a desk or table to play a handheld. You just can't play while traveling.
4 - The difficulty settings are IMPOSSIBLE beyond 3 or 4, which means you can't EVER have enough money since items are INSANELY priced.
Wow! That's not a problem with the game itself. No offense, but you just suck terribly at it. I'm not as good as a good majority of players, and even I can beat several levels easily at a higher difficulty than that. When you can play decently, the money isn't much of an issue, and the weapons in the store are comparatively made available according to how much money you have at the moment, anyway.
5 - You couldn't try weapons before fusing them to see if it was worth bothering! IE: Items with no range are totally worthless!
So only fuse for weapons with good range and stats you like. Within each weapon class, the weapons all handle similarily, and don't you want to collect all the weapons anyway? There are several treasure hunt panels related to weapon collection. If necessary, you can also look at your idols (or online) to find out some details about each individual weapon.

Yea playing as the girl and dog was pointless, but playing as the guy with the big sword (Magnus?) was kind of nice for a change.

On a side note the best thing about Kid Icarus for me is that I got a shedload of Card packs from Club Nintendo and I'm selling them on E-bay to kids with far too much money ( I assume it kids , unless some adults buy this tat as well!) Easiest cash I ever made!

For the change of pace.

#4) Childish dialogue/voice acting felt like I was listening to a 4Kids translation which also led me to not taking Hades seriously.

You weren't supposed to.

#3) That I couldn't choose between Paletuna's or Viridi's hub areas.

You can. And you can sacrifice hearts to Viridi as well.

#2) Dark Pit was lame there was no real reason for him to even exist, they just put him in there because Japan loves those hard a** type of characters in their anime/games.

Dark Pit is my favorite character in the game. I play the Dark Pit level the most out of all of them.

#1) I hated what the ultimate sacred armor was, it's just such a Japanese thing.

Now you're just looking for stuff to complain about.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Not really a complaint I guess, but does anyone know what the point of sacrificing hearts to Paletuna was?

Do you get special weapons or powers if you give enough? I did it a few times but I got nothing. seems like a pretty pointless adition IMO.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

From what I've garnered from other websites (and from my own experience) I think it adds a bit more dialogue that the goddess says to the story. Because I remember them saying new lines after a while (I periodically give her hearts, so it slowly grows). That's my guess anyway.

My complaint is that it's so amazing that I can't help but feel guilty scanning new yoshis instead of shooting monoeyes. (Troll face)
I do find it funny that people are complaining that KID Icarus is too kiddy. They promoted it with cartoons! What were you expecting?

"...It's funny because marriage is terrible!"
If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome!
