Topic: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - Do You Use The 3D? -

I just got The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is the reason I bought the console. I have been playing for a bout an hour and find myself using the 3d off. I was wondering how many of you mostly play with the 3d off. it made me feel crosss-eyed. lol.

I'm playing with the 3D turned on, but just barely. Whereas most of the time I play with the 3D all the way up, or sometimes around two-thirds of the way up, for OOT3D I've been playing with it on just enough to create some depth. The 3D effect in this game seems to be extremely deep compared to other games and things I've tried, so turning it up high is too much for my liking.

Eh...going up and down with the slider, gonna use the first playthrough with it on though. Master Quest is where I'm gonna try out the motion controls...

yeah I haven't gotten used to the motion controls yet. do you guys think anything will come with street pass for this?

Am I the only one whose eyes never get hurt by the 3d? I don't have the game but I was impressed by the 3d effect in the video I downloaded.

I don't know <> another reason to "always be on" I guess.

I'm using 3D on my first playthough because everything looks extra-gorgeous in 3D!
The only downside is that gyroscopic aiming whilst in 3D can be slightly awkward (but still awesome). Also, if I'm playing for hours on end, my eyes do start to feel a little bit strange, but it's nothing overly serious. I also tend to start off playing with the slider high up, but it soon starts to irritate my eyes and I'll gradually lower the amount of 3D.

My second playthrough - the Master Quest playthrough, is mostly going to consist of playing in 2D, because I will have already seen most of the game in 3D and I just want to be able to freely use the gyroscope aiming without worrying about having to look at the 3D screen from straight on.

I use 3D and 2D in equal amounts. Gotta say the 3D is gorgeous though~

I play it completely in 3D with motion controls. It is amazing. I never thought I'd say that as originally I wasn't going to get it - but I'm so glad I did.

I mostly play it with 3D on. I've only turned off the 3D for a few seconds in the 2 hours I've been playing the game. It's absolutely beautiful in 3D! Honestly though after a while my eyes do get a bit irritated,but nothing too serious and I can still keep playing. If I do master quest I probably will turn 3D off for most of it. I think it's pretty easy to aim with motion controls with 3D on. I'm just going to turn off the 3D for my master quest run so I can play even longer.

I always play with th 3D a stylus width down from full, (that's basically full) all the time. No it never hurts my eyes, even when i play for about 7 hours on end, which i have been doing a lot with Ocarina Of Time, and also, I find it's very easy to use the Gyro Sensor with 3D on and still easily see the screen in perfect 3D. SO @7 your not the only one!

I got this at gamestop today. glad I pre-ordered. they said they did not have any extras. last night, as I was playing link's awakening (which I had hoped to finish before OOT) I was reading that some people were warning against short supply. it is true! — GET THIS GAME --> isn't it the reason you invested $250.00? — haven't made it to Hyrule Field yet, ( i'm stillin the duku tree) but I hear it is beautiful in 3d.

i WILL have the 3D on. i noticed that people lose the 3D when they use the gyro sensor fearures. butt i wont, because i practiced on face raiders

It is! I live in the UK so I've had it since Friday and I'm now up to Gerudo Valley with 15 hours play time it is undoubtably georgeous!

I only put the 3D on when I see Zelda
