@Tasuki There is a big difference between that and this thread. One is basing hints off an homage to a past game, the other is basing it's hints off of actual hints. That being, Aonuma talking about it multiple times while being vague and giggly about the subject. While purposely throwing the Mask into a game where it literally brings nothing to it other than being a hint.. I mean.. I GUESS you could take it as a homage though, but it really feels like a :wink wink: tease.
THIS.
In addition, many people have been asking about this game, mock box art has been made, and the intentional references made to Majora's Mask by Nintendo. The supposed "hint" with Sunshine Airport and a Sunshine remake/rerelease/sequel is unsubstantiated, considering that there was a Super Mario Sunshine course in Mario Kart DS (Delfino Plaza) and Mario Kart Wii (Coconut Mall).

i have a 3ds and just cant bring myself to get an xl, but if mm3d comes out, i'd probably get it if its bundled. But a Wii U remake happened, i'd get it
Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.
Hopefully Grezzo has already been working on it for a while. I would like to see this game announced at E3 and released in time for the holiday season.
I don't think it would be economically feasible to do a full blown remake on Wii U for the same reason that a full blown Final Fantasy 7 remake is pretty much out of the question. They would have to start from scratch, take years of development, and tens of millions of dollars.
To be fair, some of Nintendo's closest 3rd party studios have been quiet lately (Grezzo, etc.)
Yeah, and Greezo helped develop OoT 3D. A quick search on Google found that the last game that Greezo made was Flower Town/Streetpass Garden. Before that was Four Swords Anniversary.

Well these studios usually do contract jobs, but they haven't completed anything in a year or more. I think Nintendo (or someone at least) is going to reveal a bunch of stuff soon.

What if we don't get a Majora's Mask remake...but...a sequel?!
Majora's Mask's Revenge...'s.
Nice title.
But it would defeat the continuity in MM.
The Happy Mask Salesman said the evil left the mask at the end of the game. Unless….he was wrong! Dun dun dun!

I think a sequel would be awesome. Personally, I'd want it to involve Adult Link returning to Termina and possibly base the story on the creator of the Mask.. would that be Majora? I really don't know. I can't remember if they touched on it's creator in the first one or not. It'd just be cool to see more on the origins of it. It could lead to an ultimately darker Zelda game, I imagine, since MM is pretty sinister feeling itself.

Hmmm…an interesting idea. But I have a couple of questions.
When you say Adult Link, do you mean a return to Termina in the Adult Link timeline? Because after OoT, there is no Link in the Adult timeline. Link returned to the Child timeline. Or perhaps do you mean a return to Termina with the child Link grown up? That could be possible, and it'll answer the question of whether or not Link completed his journey successfully.

I'd love to see Majora's Mask 3D. The little hints and nudges toward the game lately have always made me wonder if it would happen. If it does, it would have to be on 3DS. I get that a Wii U remake would be awesome, but it just makes more sense to do it on 3DS. Ocarina of Time is essentially Majora's Mask's video game brother, and having both the remakes on the same system is a no-brainer. I'd be perfectly fine with giving the OoT 3D graphics upgrade to MM as HD really isn't necessary. Leave that for the new Zelda on Wii U. Having both of them portable would also be nice.
C'mon, another remake? Ocarina of Time was enough, it's time to move forward. People want new things...! For example more adult 3D Zelda would be 1000x better.

majora's mask is probably the most adult game in the franchise. Majora's Mask is a brilliant game, in my opinion better than any other game in the franchise, yet it doesn't have half the fan base it deserves.

Funny you should mention that. Majora's Mask is pretty adult

Nevertheless it's still a remake. Nice to see that you like adult Zelda games but new installment to the series is always better than another remake. 3DS has more capabilities than N64, so why to hold it back?
