No, it just means that Jaleco choose to have those ratings public before Nintendo chose to make Super Mario Land VC's rating public.

Avenging Spirit is also an arcade game so Jaleco could release that on the Wii at some point. This is a bit random though. Hopefully both games are better than the stuff Jaleco has on the Wii VC.

I was pretty sure Mario land and Link's awakening would be the first games released. They even mention them in the 3DS manual in the section about the e shop. Since esrb ratings are starting to appear shouldn't this site get started on adding a 3DS VC section?

We already have a VC section. They should just add Gameboy and Gameboy Color under consoles in that section.

No, there should be a seperate section for 3DS VC just like there are seperate sections for WiiWare and DSiWare. It only makes sense to be consistent, right?

I guess. I just hope they call it Virtual Handheld. It's confusing calling it '3DS VC'. Makes it sound like it's part of the same service.

You never know: Maybe one day you'd be able to play them NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, etc. games on the 3DS.

Turbo grafx 16 games were confirmed for an eventual release on 3DS a while back and that's not a handheld system.
Let's not forget the recent announcement of a free download of Nes Excitebike upon the launch of the e shop.
I don't think console games are completely out of the question.

Also, wasn't the 3DS version of ExciteBike a 3D remake, not a direct port? I can see us getting remakes, but not straight, VC like ports of console titles.

I was not even aware they had a handheld Turbo grafx. That thing must not have been too popular.
I'm not sure if the Excitebike they mentioned was the Nes version or not but the article sounded like that's the one they meant. I guess it's more of an enhanced port since it'll make use of the 3D effect.

They didn't have one. These are the console TG-16 games just like on the Wii's VC.

It would be AMAZING if they fused the Wii's entire VC library in with the 3DS eShop and then let you download everything you have on Wii to your 3DS! (wishful thinking, i know....)
