Apparently Team Meat has said there's a chance this game will come to the 3DS, if Nintendo allows it. I don't know anything about this game except that it's an RPG. I love Team Meat though so I'm looking forward to it. Anyone else excited? http://nintendo3dsblog.com/the-binding-of-isaac-may-come-to-t...

They said the same thing about Super Meat Boy on WiiWare... Won't believe it until it's officially announced and shown running on the 3DS.
@Tendoboy THe main reason Meat Boy didn't come to Wiiware was because of the size limit. 3DSware has a much larger limit than Wiiware so if Nintendo says it's fine I honestly don't see what would hold them back.

Except SMB was originally a WiiWare exclusive iirc, or at least it was going to get it before every other system got it, but they had issues with the 40MB file limit and it ended up on every system it was promised for except the Wii, lol.

The Binding of Isaac making it's way to the Nintendo 3DS would be the best reason I've seen not to buy a 3DS.
...Do you wanna give any context to that statement? Or was that a typo?

The Binding of Isaac coming to 3DS? After having play it extensively for the last few hours, I kinda doubt it. As it stands, it won't receive anything less than an M rating. Also, it isn't an RPG, it's more like Smash TV.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

I'm not either. No one is giving any reasons at all about why it would deter them from making a 3DS purchase or why its even a bad game. lol its one of many you could just avoid. Overreaction much? Its actually a pretty fun game, although disturbing. If it ever did come to 3DSware though I would hope there would be a bit more content. Got it cheap at $1.24 but honestly the game really isn't worth more than $5 imo.
I'm with everyone else who said they weren't holding their breath. not interested in anything they've got until we get us some Meat Boy on a Nintendo platform.
also, as to why it would possibly deter someone from purchasing a 3DS — hyperbole, guys. i just read the plot description on wikipedia, and it seems pretty sacreligious... I can certainly see why it would turn people off. :3

Funny you should mention mistakes, because that sums up the Binding of Isaac perfectly.
...But why would that deter people away from buying a 3DS? I'm not seeing the connection.
Because, silly boy, a single bad game will
RUIN!!
a console forever.
RUIN IT!
FOREVER!!!
I mean look at the SNES. There was a movie tie-in or two on that and by god everyone hates the SNES.
**runs off screaming and throws all consoles into a fire**
Disclaimer: I have never played The Binding of Issac and so cannot comment for its quality. Burning consoles give off an interesting and possible highly toxic smell though.

Yeah but yet no one said anything in this regard. They just said they wouldn't buy one with no explanation that way the rest of us can play a guessing game to their reason.
If they release this on the 3DS I will sell my car so I can buy 23 more 3DS consoles then download the game on all of them and hold a mass "Binding of Isaac Marathon" at the local retirement home.
