What will the 3DS Menu look like?
Since you'll be able to download apps, games, etc, how will everything be displayed?

The menu is shown in a video already. And I don't like it.

This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

The menu looks terrible. I am disappoint. Even this rushed piece of fanart would've been better:

I like the one they have. If you've played around on the dsi one it's a pain scrolling from one end to the other. Trust me the setup is great

It is decent and functional enough. Just wish it was more customizable.

i would like choose between odnetnin's homescreen or nintendo's homescreen in the option menu if i could

Initially, I probably won't sort it, since I won't have many games to begin with. I'll probably sort them by system as I get more.

I like the current design of the 3DS menu seen in the videos, but customisable themes and backgrounds would be amazing.

Integrate the shop and Nintendo Channel-equivalents into the main menu. Then players will have easy access to online functionality and shopping. I think that's really important and it would be a mistake to hide them away like the Wii and DSi did.
EDIT: @theblackdragon This thread is about a totally different menu from the one you chose in favour of this one. The "home menu" is the one that appears when you press the home button, overlaying the current software being run on the 3DS. This thread is about the menu you are shown when you switch on the device, like the channels screen on the Wii. That is, assuming they aren't one and the same (which I think is a reasonable assumption).
