Topic: The 3DS is a good console. Why is so hated?

I actually completely believe this one

XD Most of the hate only comes from people online, cuz in the real world the 3DS sales numbers speak for themselves. Just remember people on the internet only do 5 things: 1) Hate on anything they can find/see online 2) They try to become famous online mostly through Youtube 3) They try to find love on the internet 4) Watch pron 5) Online shopping (in that exact order BTW). So I suggest to just ignore the haters cuz that's all they do.

Love on the internet... Love... Internet... two words I'd never thought I'd see together in the same sentence.

But people do that! Maybe they should look somewhere else by that logic... lol

My Sister found her husband on the internet. They are quite happy together.

I don't condone it, but neither do I endorse it. As long as it makes you happy... that's all you need.

I have seen a lot of people say a lot of stupid things about the 3DS, mostly I'd wager they are fankids of another company. When asked why I love the 3DS, I simply say "it's Nintendo," because I openly admit I am a Nintendo fangirl. Though I can give objective reasons that the 3DS is superior to other systems, I prefer to avoid that completely because most fankids can not take objective criticisms of their preferred system. That said, yes, there are some, and it's also possible there are some people who are just pad to smear competition from other systems, but that's probably just because I don't understand the hate either. The 3DS has a few aspects that could be seen as flaws, if you wanted to nitpick, however, the positive aspects of the system far outweigh those possible flaws. The features make it unbeatable.

I probably did not help out much here, but the simple truth of it is this: there are a lot of reasons that people do stupid things which we cannot ever know.

To be fair, most of this hate hasn't been common since at least late 2011. People tended to jump off the '3DS is doomed' bandwagon once it started selling by the ton in November/December 2011. Even more so when the Vita came out and died horribly.

now I've already even seen the 3DS being called the "handheld N64" it's great, it's 3D and it's loved by many

I don't think the 3DS is hated but there is some incredible JEALOUSLY from other people surrounding the 3DS. They usually ask... "How can the 3DS get that game but we can't?" Haha its a shame.

Sorry, but that's useless, counting the number of times something is mentioned on the internet with a bot is pretty much just a novelty.

@Blastoise-san ... that makes sense too. The 3DS is attracting a lot of game devs now.

@KittenKoder Remember when Resident Evil: Revelations first came out as a 3DS exclusive?? Oh, man. There was so much jealously and envy from other gamers about that game. They was like: "THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!!!!!!". What a shame.

That would explain why there's so much trolling and why Sony fankids get pissed when you even mention just the facts about the systems. Like, the most important factor in buying a system:

1. The 3DS has the most games and a ton of exclusives that no Vita does not have.

However, I tell people to just go with what you prefer anyway, if you like the games for one system, what does it matter who made it?

The 3DS has become one of my favorite systems of all time, don't see why people would hate it with such a diverse and amazing library of games.

What's funny is that they spent all that time complaining, but did the ports really sell any better than the 3DS version? These fanboys complained about how Revelations was not going to a "real system" and when they finally get their own version, they ignore it and walk away. It's less about the 3DS getting the game, and more along the lines that their system of choice was not offered the game first. Which means they cry like spoiled children until Capcom puts out an HD port with added features, and they just snub their noses at the "upscaled handheld game"

I know the prices for Revelations HD were high and there were some technical issues, but it should have sold better.

I got Resident Evil Revelations on my 3DS a couple of weeks ago, and I gotta say its an awesome game. And the funny thing is that I picked the 3DS version over the PS3 port. That should say something right there.

Guys, we are in trouble. The 3ds hating is reaching critical levels..... god save us...

^in what planet? even in Brazil(São Paulo more specifically) with all the COD "Hardcore" fanboys the 3DS is getting praise....

Over here in the UK it seems to be being ignored more than anything. Haven't seen anyone going around saying how much they hate it.
