this is some major news. i really hope they release their games on nintendo paltforms.

anyone who played one of their game knows exactly how exceptional they are. And their style is perfect for nintendo's mood.
Journey,Flow,Flower....theyre all unique titles i will always remember. bring em on my 3ds !

... They weren't an indie dev before? Also, post a source, and this would probably be better to be discussed in the Other Gaming part of the forums instead of here, since their work has been focused on non-Nintendo platforms.

Exactly.

They were always independent, they just had a contract to make three games for Sony.

And if anything, they'll head straight for STEAM or the mobile market. They don't have a ton of money, and the Nintendo platforms aren't exactly the easiest to work with.

I was happy to hear this news too. Journey is my favourite game this year and considering the motion controls they used for Flower Nintendo could be a good fit for the company. I'm still hoping they develop multi platform and bring some of their brilliant games to the Wii U eshop.

I bought Flower a couple weeks ago, and I love it. It's enjoyable and calming, it's a nice dose of exploration and beauty. I would do anything if TGC can make something similar for the 3DS, Wii, or Wii u.

Guys, you won't see those three games on a Nintendo platform, or Microsoft, Apple or Steam - at least, not for a very long time.

Sony would have signed exclusive contracts for all three games, guaranteed.

Yeah they just have the option now to make their future games available on other platforms.
