Capcom won't waste their time with Tatasunoko anymore. They have Marvel to make rehash over and over again.
No one in the west cares for Tatasunoko, and we will never see that game again!

i liked the characters in tatsunoko vs capcom. but as others have said the unfamiliarity of the tatsunoko characters was probably what prompted people not to purchase this game. it's a shame because i enjoyed the game and would be up for a sequel on the 3DS.
Love TvsC on Wii, but have to agree that it would be a minor miracle to ever see a game like this in the West again. (A hearty thanks to Capcom for taking the risk to release TvsC in the first place... still shocked and amazed that we got to enjoy that game!)

There were no Nintendo characters in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. It was all obscure Japanese manga characters vs Capcom characters.
Obscure in America. There popular super heroes in Japan, though, and you can still see their influence on shows today.
I think you'll find those of us in our 30's in England know and love many of the Tatsunoko characters... has no one ever watched Battle of the Planets!? Also helps to be a massive animé nerd.

Dc vs marvel wouldn't work. the marvel guys would get killed.
TvC was a great, I would love for them to make a second one and actually add samurai pizza cats this time. And are you crazy?? Clearly you don't think DC could match Marvel?? Marvel would win now it would be a great fight and a tough one but no Marvel would prevail.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was a great game but for the Wii U, I want Capcom and SNK to work together again and give us Capcom vs. SNK 3. That game would defined the meaning of a great 2D fighting game, no constant tagging back and forth, no massive projectiles spamming all over the place, no Dragon Ball Z style jump up and down, no easy flashy super combos once every seconds, no assist interference in every battle, etc., just pure one-on-one team against team arcade style matches and with HD and online, it gets even better.
