From August 12th (tomorrow) to August 13th (Saturday), you can trade-in your DS system towards the purchase of a Nintendo 3DS. Keep in mind, the official Nintendo 3DS price drop goes into effect on August 12th. So, that means trading in a Nintendo DSi XL will net you a 3DS for just 70 smackers.
Here's what you'll get for each system:
Nintendo DSi XL: $100 Nintendo DSi: $75 Nintendo DS Lite: $40
2. I'm not gonna trade in my DS Lite for the same reason I didn't trade it in for a DSi: The DSi and the 3DS can't play GBA games (I mean, yeah, on the 3DS you will be able to eventually, what with the whole ambassador deal, but only 10...for now)! GBA games are amazing, and I'm not gonna give up my only way of playing the ones I actually own (my GBA SP is broken) for anything!
