Topic: Tales of the Abyss: Worth Buying?

Hello everyone. I have been looking at Tales of the Abyss lately and I am considering getting it. However, I am slightly unsure about it since I never played the original PS2 version and the only Tales game I have ever played is Tales of Vesperia. Should I get Tales of the Abyss for the 3DS or no?

Considering you probably won't be able to find it years from now, I would. Especially if you liked Vesperia.

YES!!! It is a masterpiece and the best game on the 3DS! It is tied with Tales of Symphonia as my favourite game ever! I haven't played ToV but if you liked that then I don't see why you wouldn't like TotA and Tales of games do get rare quickly. Also, you can find my full impressions after beating the game on comment 89 of this thread.

It's not as good as Vesperia, but it is a very good game.

In what country's Amazon would that be? I checked and can't find a mention about it, so either it's not in the UK or I'm going blind.

I just got it on Wednsday. I haven't played it that much yet, because I also picked up Kid Icarus: Uprising that day, but from the two hours I've spent with it so far, it seems like it's going to be a good RPG (it's worth noting that it's my first Tales game).
