Topic: Tales of Abyss 3DS Site Launched

Great. I love Tales of games. I heard that Tales of Graces is finally being released in NA, they're creating Tales of Xillia, and now Tales of the Abyss for the 3DS? It's great being a Tales fan.

Well that site is apparently a Japanese or Korean one. Does that mean it won't be released in North America?

It's Japanese according to the site I saw that news on. There is always hope of it hitting North America. It has already been translated before after all.

The port is based on the North American version of the games, there's little added content so that means the game is fully translated.... which means it won't be localised.

Did you know that Japanese games get released in Japan first, and that they make the websites for their games in their local language? No kidding.

Yo man, I know, I know. It's just that I get a little disconcerted because sometimes a game will come to Japan and not the USA that's all.

Japanese publishers often don't even consider a western release for their games until they're out in Japan. Just give it some time.

I haven't played a Tales game since Tales of Eternia on the PSX. Impressive that the 3DS version of Abyss is almost exactly like the PS2 version. Looking forward to this!

Okay, Mackeral I'll follow u. Yes, those graphics are nearly identical to the PS2. It's amazing!

While the graphics are nice, it's not that impressive compared to other 3ds games but this game still looks awesome and I really hope it comes outside of Japan.
