2 of my kids have a Dsi, one received a 3ds recently. Is it possible to use swapnote/pictochat between the two different models? And if so, how do we set that up? Thank you for your help

Sorry, not possible.

EDIT: Actually, there are apparently some games which contain PictoChat functions in them. You'll need to do some searching as unfortunately I don't know any of them.

The DS game LOL is PictoChat and I think if you put it in your 3DS it'll work with the others
