I saw an advert for SSB on 3DS yesterday on TV, I wasn't paying full attention but I thought it said if you buy SSB you get a choice of 1 of 5 free games (Zelda:LBW and Mario Party being 2 of them). Did I misinterpret the advert as I can't see anything online about this offer?
Yeah sadly it's only for those who just bought a 3DS, but I actually forgot to register mine when I bought it a few years back and got in the free game deal with my Smash Bros game c:

Doesn't matter when you bought the 3DS, if you haven't registered it yet; you're eligible (as far as Club Nintendo is concerned!).

Cool, I think I am eligible. This is looking pretty awesome! Except......I don't really want any of the free games on offer But I might get the Zelda download and then sell my hard copy.

It's on a standard Club Nintendo card like with retail games, the only difference is that there's no silver scratch card part.
