Why would the Duck Hunt dog be a playable character anyway?

Why wouldn't he?

He's off better as an Assist Trophy.

Until you actually see them in action. I think you have forgotten/underestimate Sakurai's ability to make ANYONE a valid fighter.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Looks like the Vgbootcamp people found a glitch already.

I kinda hope they fix that.

Looking at the character colors, here are some of my comments:

  • Metaknight sure does love pink doesn't he.
  • USA Shiek to go with USA Mario!
  • Is that shirtless Little Mac?
  • I love this black and yellow theme that seems to be popular among the fighters.
  • ALBW Link recolor for Toon Link, cool! That'll probably be my main color for him.
  • Pink and baby blue Bowser, omg.

Aaah....I don't know how to do the spoiler tag on this site...

This needs to be nerfed badly.

I was talking about this on the stream and someone said it'd be impractical to pocket Trees a lot, even though the move itself is OP. When I said the Bowling Ball pocket technique was OP, they said it'd be time consuming on Doubles, I'm like "Really? Taking out a bowling ball in 1 second is too long?" Seriously, people will not consider this technique OP?

@Jazzer94

I don't think it needs to be nerfed

@Shirma_Akayaku Think about it in a team with Samus giving Villager charged B shots to pocket power up then release, madness.

I would complain as well but the homerun bat also kills at 0%, but who know's, might already been saw by the devs and it fixed for the release.

Heh, heh. funny. Sakurai pretty much showed that exact situation from the smash reveal trailer and the smash explanation video a year back.

Except it wasn't a team situation.

And it is something as hard to pull off as Jigglypuff's Rest move.

EDIT: Actually it is harder to pull off than Rest as it requires two players to be Villager, Doubles might make it easier to do but it will only take time before anti-villager techniques are made.

It works on any projectile amplifying the damage and doesn't have anywhere the amount of risk or potential punish attached to it.

Edit: Also rest killing at 0%???

Do we have proof it makes any other projectile a 1 hit kill?

@DefHalan Mega Mans Charged shot smash attack yields the same result, I'd guess Samus charged B will also kill one shot if charged long enough, can't remember if tree kills but definitely does serious damage. It's really down to the fact that knock back and power is increased by quite a bit that makes the move op and it works on a stupid amount of things so both fun and dangerous.
