Yeah they are, the same pre rendered images for the characters, you can even see them on the main site.
Which is what the pic was using.
They're also boxed, so you can't see the full image in-game.
Oh, I'm not arguing against the artwork.
Throughout every SSB game the fighting icon for the character have been the same as the menu icon for the character (only difference being that the fighting icon features each players individual color as a background). What I mean is that the menu icon in that fake menu screen does not look like the fighting icon for neither MegaMan nor Mario in the footage. It's an obvious error.

....You're confusing me now. >_>
The character images are the same...
I don't know how to put it.
Here:
The menu icon should look like it does in the SSB4 footage from E3 (right picture) only without the blue background color. Not zoomed out like in the fake menu screen.

That could be argued with "he hasn't unlocked everything yet"
True enough.
He just happened to make sure the most likely to be included characters were unlocked before taking the picture.

It happened to me earlier today. It happened because my internet was screwing me over ('Unable to load this page." Refreshed multiple times, and it sent the same message multiple times... Pissed me off so bad.) . I assume the same happened to that guy.
You guys talk as if you didn't watch the Smash Bros. Direct. Although, we now know Midna is in both versions of the game, which is nice. She's a great character to have as an Assist Trophy. Actually, she and Elec Man are two of my favorite new Assist Trophies.
