Balloon Kid was also a Game Boy game, so the series does have portable ties.

Anyway, I'm glad it loops in order to make K.O.'s more tactical.

I kinda hope not... Maybe you can freely walk in one side and out the other but getting knocked into the side counts a KO. Much like how you can't KO yourself by jumping high into the sky (with a couple of exceptions).

Yeah, that's how I think it might work, too.
Although, it'd be interesting of you did have to KO someone by sending them through the top or bottom.

Reading that...

What if... Characters really can't be knocked out from the sides, but sending someone flying and looping around the stage eventually makes it hit one of the spinning things and that makes the character blast up or down, depending on their location!

I spy Melee's Parasol but the pic is probably of Smash Run again.
...So the Parasol might actually be an enemy if that Waddle Dee was holding it earlier.

It was already comfirmed that Parasol Waddle Dee (the single cutest and bestest enemy/character from Kirby) would be in Smash Run.

Yes, I know that's a Parasol Waddle Dee. I'm just wondering if after attacking the Waddle Dee, will the Parasol harmlessly float away or home in on you? Because they do that in the Kirby games sometimes.
