After much thought, I'm going to buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL soon, and as someone who didn't get a Wii U, I'm interested to get this game and give it a go. It sounds fairly stripped compared to the Wii U version, but I imagine there are plenty of hours to be had with this one!

I'm looking forward to it!

Just a question. Does anyone know if this game is 30fps or 60fps? I've only seen 30fps footage in trailers but I wonder if that's how the game is going to be or if it's just nintendo deciding not to have 60fps trailers.

I can check around Google, but does it really make a difference on a 2D side scroller?

@TheLZdragon No I guess not but I was just curious because I've only seen 30fps footage

So I got this game for 3DS. Concept seemed cool and heard good things about it, so I didn't really bother read to much about it before buying.

So there really isn't a convenient way to share levels with community members? I've played some random levels but every each one of them sucks big time... What's the incentive to create a really cool level?

Am I missing something? Thanks!

This is basically Super Mario Maker for One unless you live in an area where people still carry around 3DSs with streetpass enabled for this game.

As a single player experience it is a great Mario game, however there's not much incentive to create your own levels besides torturing your local friends.

At least having space for custom levels means you can save the good levels you find manage to online.

@Meowpheel Thanks. I was a bit surprised that you can't rate levels or add them by a custom code or something... I wouldn't even call this a missed opportunity; it's more like forgetting to finish your game Well... Too bad... I'll just do with the few good levels I'll find!
