I bought my 3DS when Super Mario 3D Land was announced, as that game made it an essential purchase.

Over time, I checked Mario Kart 7 videos and then my interest started to build.

So as most people here, I am getting both, but I am more pumped for Super Mario 3D Land.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I think MarioKart 7 gets you more for your buck.
Online muitplayer and such.

Mario Land3D is gonna be one of those Mario games, that you can beat in a week.
You know how it begins, and you know how its gonna end.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

I'm more excited for MArio Kart, but I'll definity be getting both.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I'll be betting that SM3DL is going to have some kind of co-op mode via LAN. It'd be very interesting to see some sort of dlc with new levels and such, but Nintendo's not so gung-ho when it comes to the introweb.
SM3DL=Day one purchase for me. I don't think I've played a Mario game that I regretted buying.

MK7 (I actually prefer the 7 as opposed to 3D) will be another day one purchase for me. I'll be at the store as soon as it opens to get a copy of this cartridge (actually I'll probably be in school >.< but afterwards...)
Mario Kart for the Wii had decent online. If MK7 can expand on that e.g. friend notices, hosting a game, mic or message systems, it'll probably be one of the best Nintendo games to date.

The day Nintendo can put it's creative spin on the online feature, or at least embrace like a fuzzy bunny, will be a good day.

Thaaaaaanks for noticin' me.

Both are must haves for any Nintendo fan.

For once agree with this man... Mario Kart 7 will have plenty of replay value with online multiplayer, kart customization and what not to tide me over until I find Super Mario 3D Land for a little cheaper. Ofcourse I'll buy both, but I won't be rushing in to buy SM3DL straight away. However, my parents might just well buy me a copy of the game anyways. it's good to have parents

The reason why I'm waiting for SM3DL? Well, lets look back to NSMBW, finished that on release day... wow that was easy... look back to SMG 1, beat that in a week... wow, that was easy... and once you've finished these games, no more reason to go back. But if you look at SMB for NES, wow that games fun no matter how many times you play it.
