idk if it's been mentioned in thi thread(i only looked at page 6) but id love to see the koopa shell from nsmb ds return i loved that suit.
I liked to see that suit return but i dont think it work for a 3D game but id like tosee it for the next 2D mario game
Yea, but wouldn't it be better in a 3d game because you can see what's coming? In NSMB i always used to fall down pits using the blue shell suit.
Just because you can see what's coming doesn't mean you can avoid it. Shells tend to keep going in the same direction until they either bounce off a wall or fall into a pit. It works in 2D because there are only two directions you need to worry about. In a 3D game, it would be way harder to stay on a platform. I love the Blue Shell, but just thinking about that gives me a headache.

Yeah, if you want to stop the shell you just stop running. Even if you stopped in time to avoid dying, you would never get to use it for more than a few seconds at a time. Imagine using it in the levels shown in this trailer:

Super Mushroom Fire Flower Starman Tanooki Suit Boomerang Suit
What a disappointment. And the Tanooki Suit doesn't even do the same stuff as the original version. Mario uses his legs to flutter in the air instead of waggling his tail.
