Also could someone detail the update that comes with the game? Is it the same one that was talked about acouple of weeks ago.
Yes, you can jump into a friends game now, everyone who is online is at the beginning of your friend list and you can scroll through it faster.
Also, I agree. I forced myself to stop playing near the end of world 3.
How does the jump-in thing work again? You both have Street Fighter and are playing it, your friend is fighting online, and then you can launch Street Fighter from his friend card? If so that's not really very useful.
I forced myself to stop at 3-2 (all medals so far collected). Cause I played 3-1 to make up for Boom Boom and it was awesome.
I have a lot I could say about this game (and I probably will say it all later), but for now, two quick observations:
3D Land feels ridiculously realistic in the flying/falling sections. Maybe I'm just squeamish, but I got a roller coaster-esque sensation with the Tanooki Suit and Propeller Block in that one level. This is one visceral Mario title.
WTF at people blasting through the game in one session.
Yeah the main game isn't that long but there's still the 8 Special Worlds. And I need to go back and find the star coins I missed which will take a while, so it isn't as short as you think.
Are the special worlds actual worlds? (like, a second "play-through" thing) Or are they just 8 levels like in NSMBW? Just wondering... And they're all like, new, too right? xD

IGN apparently gave it the 9.5 because of the special worlds, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll only get better and tougher. It's awesome btw!

It is 8 new worlds, not levels. Some are very similar to levels in the initial 8 world but others are new stages.
Alright, cool...I'll just hope for a demo now then. Can't get it this month. xD (well, I could, but it would mean that I would have to WAIT more on Skyward Sword. >_>)

Spoilerish IIRC Some of them are new challenges set in old levels (like Cosmic Mario from Galaxy chasing you around), and others are brand-new.
^^ Well, since it seems everyone is totally avoiding marking spoilers, I'll just say it. From my understanding, it's eight new worlds with remixed and new levels. So the game is essentially half over after the first world eight.
Could someone plz tell me how to defeat Bowser in the first round? I can't get to his Tanooki Tail! I've been trying to burn his tail with the Fire Flower.

The gold flag thing is cool. Thanks for explaining. I'll have to go back and try to do that on more levels.
I just finished the first half of the game. The final showdown is pretty cool, though I think NSMBW still takes the cake for coolest Bowser (whoops, I spoiled that it's not Wart) fight.
Edit: Burn Bowser's tail...? I tried shooting fireballs at his front and it didn't do anything. Can you really hurt him if you hit the tail? I was disappointed that you have only one way to beat him this time. I think if you can get behind him to hit the tail you'd be better off just running anyway though.
