@WaveBoy: I can't wait! I've had my fingers crossed for "Super Mario Bros. in 3D" since the N64.

@waveboy If by Koopa kids you mean the Koopalings from SMB3, SMW, M&L:SS and NSMBW (Koopa kids are the those three enemies in the Mario party series) the Koopalings haven't been confirmed for Super Mario 3D but Boom boom, the mini-boss has. If you can provide a source that shows that the Koopalings actually have been confirmed for the game then I'll gladly be proven wrong as it would be awesome if they were in it but I haven't seen anywhere saying or showing that they are.

@NintyFan, that video makes me want to cuddle up with my 3DS even more. I haven't been using it as I don't want to put undue stress on it. Seriously, that looks like a Wii game and not a handheld game. Man, the 3DS packs some serious power.

i kinda like the name super mario 3D land but super mario land 3D which some people think is better may make people think oh its just super mario land in 3D super mario 3D land shows that its a different land

I don't really like the Title, but I highly doubt it will effect my enjoyment of the game. I would have preferred just Super Mario, Super Mario 3D, or Super Mario Land 3D. Super Mario 3D Land kind of sounds weird. Let's just hope people don't start saying it like Super Mario 3D - Land. Like how you say Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption!

The Title of Mario Kart 7 is a bit weirder actually: Pretty simple, and I guess it's the 7th MK?
About SM3DL: Just what @jtr235 said: If it was called Super Mario Land 3D, it's sound like a remake of an old GB game. 3D land makes kinda sense, since the game is in a '3D landscape'

So far Super Mario 3D Land is the biggest pre-order since Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D!

This might the 2nd best official remix of the underground theme ever (behind SMRPG of course).

That may not sound like much but I swear there's like 30+ versions of that song.

I will say that this game seems kinda different...somehow. I dunno, it's blatantly really uncreative in a lot of ways but it seems to be creative from a gameplay standpoint despite the fact it shouldn't be. Or something. Really weird. I approve of that. I wasn't nearly as excited for this as I wish I was but this has helped.

I honestly found Mario's noises in this game to be a bit annoying compared to the others. I dunno why.

I'm not looking forward to this game as much as I was I hoping I would be but the level design looks great so hopefully it will still be really good. Some of the reasons I'm not looking forward to it as much as I hoped I would be are because I think the 2D and 3D Mario platformers should stay seperate like the timer being in this game, the health bar being replaced with the one from the 2D games, this game being more linear than most 3D Mario platformers, all the levels apart from boss levels having the objective to just get to the flagpole at the end instead of the variety in most 3D Mario platformers and Mario being less acrobatic than in most of his 3D platformers. There are other reasons not to do with the similarity to the 2D Mario platformers like it not being as creative as I would have hoped and I've heard from some impressions that Mario is slower than in some games which doesn't work well with the pace of the levels with a 3D plane.

I prefer big Mario worlds where you can explore sh*t and stuff like that.
Linear is good too, but I'm one of those who liek GIANT STUFF.

A first party Mario game is great, for the most.

I hope this is one of the games Nintendo will push paid DLC for. I'd be on buying bigger levels- maybe 50 for $5?

I noticed in the above videos that Mario's fire flower ability isn't temporary like in the Galaxy games anymore.
That always bugged me. In the the older games you keep it until you're hit.
Good to see they went back to the normal style Fire flower.
This game should shut up those nay sayers who think the 3DS is a flop.
Not to forget the slew of other awesome games coming this holiday.
