YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy sh#t it's about time Enix! As much as I loved the first two Theatrhythm's I'm much, much, MUCH more of a DQ fan than a FF fan (DQ V and IX are some of my personal favorite DS games, RPG's and games of all time). I swear to God if this doesn't come westward....(Might be a good time to import a New 3DS LL.....
Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!! The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us! Backloggery Check my Youtube channel out! http://www.youtube.com/user/Ha...

Please let this come to the states. This and a new Rocket Slime (that is actually released in the west) would make everything in the world right again.
Not sure about the sales numbers for the other two Theatrhythm games, but I find it easier to localize and with a possible wider appeal than other DQ games. I mean, not everyone will play a deep JRPG but a music/rhythm game I guess more people would.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
If they'd made a Kingdom Hearts Theatrhythm, a localisation would've been much more likely. With this I'm just crossing my fingers, but I remain somewhat hopeful. It's really not much of an effort to do, so why not?

The first game sold half a million copies. I'm guessing that was insanely profitable for a game that was probably made by about 6 people.
As for the appeal. I dunno if rhythm games have more appeal than JRPGs. But a much more relevant fact is that they have a hell of a lot less text to translate.
Heh, I'll be more than a little annoyed if they refuse to localize any of the DQ 3DS RPGs but localize the rhythm game spinoff.
Actually, localizing the easier spinoff first would be a nice way to measure interest in the series.
It could open the door to localizing the RPGs.
That would be nice. Although, on the flip side, lack of interest in the spinoff could lead to confirmation for them that there's no market for DQ here.
I didn't even know DQ music was supposed to be notable at all.
