Topic: stupid 3ds transfer lost data please help

Yesterday i bought the new 3ds which i had been saving up for forever. When i got home i started the small system transfer (the one without the use of pc but not the wireless one) because i couldnt do the wireless one because i had too much memory taken up which i didnt. Any way during the transfer process it said in order to complete the transfer i would have to wipe the data off my old 3ds. It also said once redownloaded my save data would be restored for digital games. The transfer went well up until i redownloaded monster hunter 4 ultimate. I started it up to find my save data gone. All 220 hours of it. Im about to throw my brand new 3ds out a window. Any way to solve this and get my data back?

Odd. I did the partial transfer and all my save files were safely restored immediately after redownloading the games.

Are you sure you did the transfer correctly?

I followed it perfectly should i try reinstalling mh4u
