Here in the Netherlands, the Game Mania shops are a good Streetpass Relay point and they also have unique DLC for AC:NL I go there at least once a week and usually get 4 or 5 hits per visit... the staff there also have 3DS. Because this shop is located close to a major railways station i sometimes get international hits. Last week someone from the USA and today a girl from the UK.

Yeah, the Relay System definitely has something wrong with it. Nintendo even acknowledged it recently. When it first began, I would get a hit from any Nintendo Zone I would go to, though I usually had to be in the Zone for a couple of minutes. Now it never happens. It's been at least 10 days since I got a Relay hit.
I love the Idea behind streetpass But it's been Frustrating to say the least. I hope the Anime expo turns out good
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

This relay thing is fantastic. My work is right next to a McDonald's so I get a new tag every night now. I even finally ran into another Etrian Odyssey player and grabbed their guild card.
Where's the KABOOM?! There was supposed to be an earth-shattering KABOOM! sigh delays...delays...
The problem with relay is almost the same as normal streetpassing, people have to be carrying their 3DS around with them all the time. I usually get at least 1 a week many time more than, but it can be hit and miss at times and its very random when it happens. BUt its very exciting and well worth it when it does happen.

Oh and bezerker99 respectfully speaking sure McDonalds can be bad for you, but so is nearly everything else out there if you don't eat it in moderation. I enjoy McDonald's as a once in awhile treat.

Next time I go into Maccas I will ask for this wrap sandwich everyone keeps talking about
The Wrap Sandwich is awesome. It has Chicken, Bacon, lettuce, Tomato with mayo. I got my chicken served Crispy which is bad for you but oh so good..........The Wrap was surprisingly huge. Kind of like a deluxe burrito

The Angus Mac has added a couple of pounds to the waistline lately
I drove by three McDonald's between church and home this afternoon, and since I was actually alone for once I decided I could have some fun and take a minute to stop at them. I got a hit at all three, so I guess it's working okay here. On a side note, I then went to GameStop where there were a couple of guys in the 3DS section looking at games and talking about their 3DSes, so I know they have one, and no Streetpass from them. I still don't understand why people would have a 3DS and not take advantage of arguably the coolest feature of them.
Xyphon22 yeah I wish that more would also, my thought is that people might be to embarrassed to do so, I bring mine everywhere and sometimes I feel like people are looking at me weird when I pull it out, but then I'm 37. Frankly I could care less what others think, but others might have a problem with it.

Streetpasses are about the only way I find gamers in Seattle ... yeah, my city sold it's soul to the devil, guess which one. I do get hits at all the relays, and there are a LOT here, tons of Starbucks, I live in a downtown district.

I'd wager most of them are actually wondering what it is. I have introduced at least 5 people in my local area to the 3DS, 3 of them are planning on buying one, or already bought one, because of it. I'm one of those "approachable" people though, so often when someone is genuinely curious they'll come and ask me about it. First thing I show is the 3D, one guy was just gaping when he saw that, it was so cute.

Last 4 days at work = 0 streetpass hits. We were sold out all weekend for the Conelo vs Mayweather fight at the MGM there were lots of young people. I guess they don't bring their 3DS's with them to vegas
@KittenKoder I have always wanted to live in Seattle. I just love that City. It will probably never be in the cards for me but never say never

Seattle is not all it's cracked up to be, it ... well ... sucks here, actually. I grew up in this state, just southeast of Seattle in the city known as Covington. It use to be called Kent-Covington because it was once a suburb of Kent. Seattle wasn't even cool back then. Now most of this city has sold out to Microsoft, except the small Google influence here. There are too many people, and even more cars driving on the roads all day. The "green" is nothing more than a coating of paint, it's LA without the beaches and sun now. But then, most of the US is pretty ugly anyway.

Windy, next time you're in a Nintendo Zone, sign on to the browser and agree to the terms and conditions. I've found that after I did that, relay hits happened again. I only had to do it once, too; it's not necessary every time I enter a Nintendo Zone now.
This worked for me with McDonald's, anyway.
It's so weird that you don't get hits working on the Strip. A couple of Fridays ago I just walked between the Venetian to Harrah's and I got 8 hits.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
Well, I walked inside a different McDonald's over the weekend. I was able to get a Street Pass relay hit as well as a special item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Still can't get the McDonald's that's closest to where I live to give me a relay hit though.
@Klimbatize Does that work for all the McDonalds? Or do you have to sign into each one of them? Sad thing is I can hit about 6 of them in less then 15 mins!
