Have you had any StreetPass relay hits yet?
After updating my 3DS on tuesday I took a walk through my town centre on wednesday morning. I didn't get any hits, which I was kind of expecting. Tbh though, it's kind of nice knowing that I may have been the first on the relay system in my area.
Today was different, I managed to get 3 hits. I'm unsure whether they were all relay hits or not, but it seems to be that way.
Anyway, I'm glad that the relay is now in place, hopefully I can get the last few pink puzzle pieces soon enough.
I've already got 7-8 relay hits, and a few had the new Mii Plaza games so that was cool.
I do find, however, that I usually have to be in the Nintendo Zone area for a few minutes before the tag registers. I was hoping to pick up tags just from drive bys.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
I drove by a McDonald's and went into Best Buy and Barnes & Noble that all have Nintendo Zones and didn't get any hits yesterday. Apparently this still isn't going to help things where I live.
I may have gotten a relay hit yesterday; I say maybe because I was at my local mall. I've tried 6 different Nintendo Zones in my area (3 McDonald's, 1 Best Buy, a Starbucks, and the aforementioned mall), and have only got that one (if it was a relay SP). While it's a very good idea, it seems to need some work first before it reaches its full potential.
My work is an ATT wifi zone so it's a Relay. Well, Yesterday I got 8 streetpass hits while working and thats a new record for me most streetpass hits in a day! Woot! Looks like its working so far! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Now I need to Change my streetpass message LOL. My Streetpass Message is "You Make Me Sick!" LOL but it doesn't mean what you think. It's me and my Wifes Petname for "I Love You" The people yesterday Probably thought ok Buddy not nice. It is somewhat funny Though when that comes up on the Bubble chat. I still get a chuckle when I see it. Should I change that?
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

I have gotten 10 hits in a week, just from frequenting some local AT&T wifi zones. I am only going to clear my hits once a week b/c now it takes too much time to clear them each time with all the new games.
where i live i get very few if any street pass hits but this saturday im going to be traveling from philly to DC , so im hoping to rack up some street pass hits
I had a stroll in Camden Town, London on Sunday. Got 10 Streetpass hits, which I'm guessing must have been because of this new Relay thing. That, or I just got lucky!

I got 2 more streetpass Hits at work yesterday. This relay thing is definately working I'm also hosting a streetpass meet at the West Charleston library in las vegas the last week of August on wednesday. I think this will be the last Library meet since the Relays are working good. I still wish that Nintendo would allow your friendlist into the Mii Plaza.

I got a few last week on holiday in Bournemouth but I had my trip to the shop back home in Milton Keynes and got 7 hits (6 on AC:NL!). I've also managed to get an extra card on the Mario & Sonic at London 2012 Card Game, just 9 more to go!

I've been going to Best Buy, McDonalds, and a Starbucks where some ahole opened a girls car door and banged my brand new car with her door. No hits whatsoever since I updated. Last night I went to buy some movies, and walked by the demo ds that Best Buy had. Nothing until I got into my car. Only my 3DS LL received the mii. On my way home I parked in front of the Starbucks again. Only the LL received a hit. After I opened it up and started to collect a puzzle piece, my US 3DS received my LL mii. A half hour later, my two 3DS' met again.
Therefore I believe the relay is just starting to become operational.
I have a question about the way the relay works! Does it mean that I can meet someone but there isn't necessarily a chance for them to meet me, therefore they cannot receive any of my data unless they go back again to the zone?
games playing right now:
Resident evil: Revelations, MK7, SM3DL.
if you haven't watched Evangelion, you haven't lived.
I went to a McDonalds with no luck. I drove to the same Starbucks and didn't receive any hits. That sounds about right, but somebody else may get your mii before that person you got comes back.
Considering that I managed to score 9 StreetPass hits, including rare Denpa Men 2 and Kersploosh! hits, at Midway International Airport in Chicago on Wednesday, instead of only 1 or 2 like what was average for me there before the Relay Update, I'm convinced that Relay points do work. Maybe not all Nintendo Zone spots, but some must work somewhere. That or I just got really, really lucky there.
Is that the puzzle after the Mario and Luigi RPG? I have two pieces from that puzzle. I only need 17 puzzle pieces for all of the puzzles on my US 3ds. I can get everything else for my Japanese LL from my US. I received a person from a McDonalds with one of my 3ds. It's still hit or miss. As I stated above, a Starbucks worked one night, but not the next day.
Maybe that Starbucks didn't work the next night because you were the last person to Streetpass that zone. Can't Streetpass yourself, so nothing happens.
The zones are definitely working, but the time it takes to register a hit seems to vary a lot. Sometimes it takes one or two minutes, others closer to ten.

I bought all the Mii Plaza Games yesterday and Really like all of them. Mii Force I think is my favorite but all of them have something different to offer. Hope you can stop by the West Charleston Library on August 28th. About 10 people Emailed me with questions about the streetpass get together. We know how that goes though. Would be neat to get 10 streetpass hits but probably not. If I get 5 I will be happy. Plus its a trip to the Library. I will probably get something to read and just hangout a couple hours. I will be there from 6pm to 8pm
