I know I saw someone else complain about this, but I couldn't find a thread about it. MK7 definitely overflows your streetpass plaza if you have the setting "invite miis from other games turned on". It's pretty annoying because it's a bunch of people I didn't even race against. I was wondering how many people turned invites off b/c of this, and also, for those who still invite miis, how many people are in your plaza now? Is there a limit? And do you think we're missing out on something else by turning invites off? I don't like turning off features but this almost seems like an oversight.

The very same is happening to me with Super Mario 3D Land. The Mushroom huts are being constantly occupied by Miis that I haven't even met (though I have met SOME of them via StreetPass).
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
I think I have 150 or so Miis in my Plaza so far, and the ones I have from the 3DS launch event are still there. Not sure if there's a limit, but I haven't reached it yet if there is.
The new update flooded my Plaza! I don't know about Mario Kart.

The spotpass miis don't give you puzzle pieces or help with find mii. I think I'll just leave the invite setting off for now unless someone has a good reason to leave it on. (for example, the invite setting also mentions that miis from your plaza may show up in other games/other places — so am I disabling that feature too?) It would be cool if it was only people I raced against but there were about 60 or 70 seemingly random people. @benav That's good that you still have your actual streetpass miis and haven't hit a limit yet. One of the things I worried about was reaching a limit and losing the miis I actually passed by and actually mean something to me.

That was exactly my fear as well. I had like 90 random people show up in my plaza. They have no info on them other than name and Mii so they mean very little to me. I don't know what the limit is but there must be one at some point. I would be seriously pissed if my 15 or so StreetPasses that I worked so hard for were erased because of these meaningless....things. I definitely turned invites off after sitting there deleting all these people for like 20 minutes. I'll save my StreetPass plaza for STREETPASSES thank you very much!
I just deleted the 100+ Miis that I received through Mario Kart 7 in case there is a limit and I'm going to keep my StreetPass Mii Plaza strictly for StreetPass. Now I'm back to 148 Miis.
Yeah mines got about 190 something. :3 Mario Kart 7 is flooding my StreetPass Mii Plaza, what's worse is these people don't do anything, they just stand there hogging space and not giving you anything. D:<
My Mii Plaza got over 100 Mii after playing few online games in MK7 but as I noticed that I got some kind of achievement for having 100 Mii there, I won't be deleting them yet so I can get other achievements like this (if there is any).
It's its, not it's.

That was the only thing stopping me from deleting them all straight away but in the end I decided that I wanted to keep my StreetPass Mii Plaza as a StreetPass only thing. It's always exciting when you go out for the day and you take out your 3DS and the green light is on and you receive a bunch of Miis... If you just get hundreds of them off the Internet then it kind of sucks the fun out of it.

The problem is that there ain't too many 3DS here in Finland so I might as well keep MK7 Miis. I've gotten only 4 different StreetPasses: Two from holiday in Spain, one from my cousin and one from random person while working in amusement park in summer.

I'm going to keep letting MK7 bring in Miis just for achievement's sake.

This. I deleted the ones I got from MK7 and turned off SpotPass for Miis.

So glad I read this thread before getting Mario Kart 7. I've turned off the SpotPass feature as I don't want 100s of meaningless Miis in my plaza. There's a sense of satisfaction from going for a walk and then finding the Mii's on your 3DS when you check it. If I just got 100s for sitting on my arse, and they don't even give you a puzzle piece or you can't use them in the StreetPass Quest, that would infuriate me.
