@Stereoman - Don't know for certain, but somewhere around halfway, and I've used 20-25 heros. It'll take some time and Play Coins, for sure.

Exactly.

I think I got one from my house. I went out with it today, but didn't notice that I got a mii from street pass. I had it charging on the dock in sleep mode(which I usually never do) and when I went to play it, I saw I got someone on it. I am leaving it on at all times from now on.

Ok on my third encounter with my friend at work i finally met him on the road but still havn't met the random person (WHo was my first streetpass encounter.). So do you have to encounter them more than just the first time in order for them to be usable in the mini games?

nope as soon as u meet a mii via streetpass it has to be instantly usable !!!

Well mine definitely doesn't work like that lol The first person i met i still havnt been able to use. My friend at work after the 3rd visit i could use it on the castle game and met him on the road. I also ran across 2 more people in the mall today and i cant use them either. theyre in my lobby plaza place but are unusable.

I can not wait for Galaga on 3DS!

I think the issues that people are having with not being able to use the people they meet are down to this:
If you get a hit, load Mii Plaza and greet the people you've "met", then shut down to do the quest later, you lose them. As soon as you load Mii Plaza you need to be using those ones you've met straight away.

I suspect what you are doing when you wander about the mall is going "Oooh, green light! Let's see who I've met". Looking in Mii Plaza but then closing down to find more. Don't do this. Either resist the urge to check and build up a stock of them, or play the adventure instantly. (Same for the puzzle swap).

This is also true of hired help. If you load up Quest (Find Mii or Save the Crown, whatever it's called on your system), spend your coins but then don't select Venture Forth to actually use them, you lose them. Not the best system, but I guess it's Nintendo's way of stopping you getting 2 versions of the same Mii in one session.

In answer to other questions, I have only ever had level 1 or 2 dogs/cats. The level 1 heroes are useless against armour so you need to use their magic (unless they get boosted by another spell). The maximum level a "real" Mii can reach is 7.

Finally, just to break up what would otherwise be a huge post, there's a really annoying design flaw on Mirage Tower room 3. The room is dark when you enter and only light magic can chase away the dark. This means you need a White Mii (if you have friends, get them to change their Mii colours in anticipation when you get close to this room).

However, any adventurers in your party before the white one are lost when you reach that room. I had hits from my son (green), my wife (white) and then 7 hired cats, one of whom was level 1 and white. My son went in first and walked off because it was dark. My wife automatically cast light and then left as she'd used her magic. So, I'd lost my 2 level 7 heroes and was left with an assortment of level 1 & 2 cats.

If I could have re-ordered them, I could have used the white level 1 cat (which was useless in attack as the ghosts in this room are armoured and his magic doesn't damage them) and kept 2 level 7 attackers.

It's really annoying and I figure this room could prove tough for people who can't manipulate their Mii hits as easily as I can.

Possibly. It's way too early in the morning for re-reads and I should really be working. What's wrong?

Does the room stay light when you leave? Or do you need to light the room up again the next time?

I've seen these minigames and i too think they're a very clever motivation to make you carry around the system everywhere you go. It should be fun and really give you some kind of strong community feeling.
I just guess it will be really hard for me to find many people Street Passing. Maybe i should really revisit gamescom this year.

But i've got a few questions about this.
1) When you meet someone can you only use his Mii once in the RPG game ? Do you have to meet the same guy again before you can use his Mii in a new battle ? And if you meet him again after you've lost him will he only be at level 1 ?
2) Do you have to defeat all of the beaten enemies again after you game overed ? I mean except for the light magic thing you wrote about, ImDiggerDan. (Which i think sucks a lot.)
And yes i know you can use "walking coins" too. I just don't wanna use that option over the "Mii way".

1) Yes, only once per meet. But it's in your plaza so it will level up when you meet him multiple times.
2) As far as I can tell, you can't die in Street Pass Plaza.

@LTD - As Sneaker says, you don't lose progress in this game. When you get more heroes (via StreetPass or by spending play coins) you continue from where you left off. If you meet a Mii you've met before (they will be in your Plaza already) they level up.

There is no game over, your heroes get fatigued (when using magic) or scared off (when they fail to defeat an enemy and the enemy retaliates). I'm assuming after you are rescued then it's game over and you get to start again. There may be more than one mission, I've reached the final room in mine and don't think I have 50% of the hats yet. I'll update as I find out!

Lol, I just encountered someone that must have passed my house. The 3DS has great reception.
